As far as these players, what parent or coach would tell them that this conduct is okay? The entire event was a discrace to the game. Stop thinking about the name on the back of the sweater and play for you team, league and sportsmanship.

I am not excusing Chris Simon's actions, but did you see the check from behind just prior to that? That check should have been called without a doubt. The NHL wants to promote the game and then they allow people to "run" other players. The NHL and all pro leagues need to stop clowning around and make the giving the hit resoponsible to make a legal checking play. In other words, the referee's and the league need to clean up the game for the good of the sport!

Grow up! Even in the NHL that's worth a suspension. Stop being assholes! These kids need to learn that you don't do stuff like that. What kind of example are you putting out there?!
