When my brother and I were growing up, my father smoked marijuana on a daily basis. He was CONSTANTLY high around us, and we were children - we were always confused and left in the dark about his bizarre behaviour. That still terrifies me to this day - irrational, drug-induced behaviour was presented to me as NORMAL for so many years. I was only told he was a pot smoker when I was 18, which needless to say is unacceptable. No child should EVER be raised to perceive it as normal behaviour, EVER.

THC, the active chemical in weed reduces the bloodflow in your body, which can be a good thing in case you are sensitive to epileptic seizures for example, but it can also be a BAD thing. Popular media likes to hype weed as some innocent drug, but it CAN be potentially dangerous to SOME people. Its not called a drug for no reason you know. I'm from the Netherlands where most young people smoke weed, and I can honestly say its not having a good effect on people in the long run.

The effects aren't the biggest problem with weed (apart from that it has shown to potentially trigger psychosis' and cases of schizofrenia), its the addiction that gets people.

I have over a decade of experience with both the drug and its users, so I think that counts as plenty of evidence, but if thats not enough look for articles on marijuana and its effects that are written by NON-biased people.

When my brother and I were growing up, my father smoked marijuana on a daily basis. He was CONSTANTLY high around us, and we were children - we were always confused and left in the dark about his bizarre behaviour. That still terrifies me to this day - irrational, drug-induced behaviour was presented to me as NORMAL for so many years. I was only told he was a pot smoker when I was 18, which needless to say is unacceptable. No child should EVER be raised to perceive it as normal behaviour, EVER.

This clip just compares something bad (weed) to something thats worse(cocaine/alcohol/heroine etc). That doesnt change the fact that cannabis can cause depression and psychosis. Studies have proven this. No Cannabis doesnt kill but it can seriously fuck you up. This clip is really narrowminded. Cannabis use comes with danger, it shouldnt be placed on the market labeled as a safe substance. If you do legalize it be sure to inform and educate people about its dangers and safe use.
