Not really a fair race, the Hyundai is quick but slightly underpowered, the Mustang is a much bigger heavier car, and the 370z has 350hp, and weighs next to nothing. So you have all different spectrum's. I would take the Mustang 1st, then the 370z, then the Genesis. Of course for the price the Genesis is an attractive good performing sports car. :) I have an 02 Mustang, i think i'll stick with it.
Unreal how far Ford's come in just 1 year...their $22,000~ rental V6 car beats the $27,000 Genesis and comes within a hair of the old V8, and the new V8 cuts into C6 Corvette territory and annihilates pretty much everything else...though 4.7seconds is very impressive for a 3.7 Nissan mill...then there's the Boss and GT500.........unreal. The GT isn't, and never will be in Corvette territory, because that would be implying that they are in Aventador/458/GT-R/LF-A territory, which they obviously are not. @utahboy86 The only Genesis coupe model that is remotely close to the Z's numbers performance wise is MSRP at $26,750-$30,750 that's only $300-$4,700 less than a Z. And is roughly 150 pounds heavier. Yes you can do a lot with $10,000 to a car but this video isn't about aftermarket performance and the general public don't know a thing about it, and those that do I doubt would start with a Genesis coupe.

i never test drove the 370z until just 3 days ago .people that like this car either haven't driven German or just don't know about cars. when i drove it, I did not feel confident in its abilities, and I think the main reason for this is the lack of visibility. It also doesn't feel as quality as Audi and BMW which I have driven. It tries to imitate them by a rough ride and heavy steering but that is not what makes them

370z: no backseats, overpriced, good tuner tho.
Mustang: terrible interior and overall quality, nice v8 sound.
Hyundai: affordable, good looking, and with the money able to be spent that would be have been used on to buy stock on the other two cars can be used to make the genesis better.

So I'm just throwing this out there but no one knows hyundai for performance. When you think hyundai, cheap, safe, and MPG is what comes to mind not performance. It just got blown away by a car with a smaller V6 they should just stick to what they know instead of embarrassing themselves with cars like the genesis.

@utahboy86 The only Genesis coupe model that is remotely close to the Z's numbers performance wise is MSRP at $26,750-$30,750 that's only $300-$4,700 less than a Z. And is roughly 150 pounds heavier. Yes you can do a lot with $10,000 to a car but this video isn't about aftermarket performance and the general public don't know a thing about it, and those that do I doubt would start with a Genesis coupe.

i never test drove the 370z until just 3 days ago .people that like this car either haven't driven German or just don't know about cars. when i drove it, I did not feel confident in its abilities, and I think the main reason for this is the lack of visibility. It also doesn't feel as quality as Audi and BMW which I have driven. It tries to imitate them by a rough ride and heavy steering but that is not what makes them

dude the hyundai gen coupe is a good affordable car and its fast for 5.5 sec especially from a hyundai and its 25k... perfect car for a college student that needs an affordable performance car. Then later on when u have more money u can buy the 370z or mustang LOL then when people ask u "what was your first car"? u proudly say "A gen coupe.....BiAtCh!"
