I have so much respect for this man, he has been a great inspiration to me. I hope he can somehow finish this film someday, it looks so beautiful. Richard Williams tried to make an animated film, The Thief and the Cobbler, that would have been his masterpiece, but sadly, after decades of work, he was never able to complete it. It would be a tragedy to see the same happen to Norstein.
