dude 300ft shots r not that hard with a fully upgraded gun and the rigth conditions it happends more often then you think. this however is not in a skirmish and notice how all these 300+ shot vids are at still targets. 300ft shot still target probable, 300ft shot on moving target=estimantions + luck ) zero trigger is laylax its all sub brands. like micro brewers for beer.

I have played both paintball, speedball and airsoft. i find paintballs dont hurt anymore then airsoft. all depends on you're pain resistance. if you play speedball then yes theres a difference but i find "most" milsim paintball guns aren't as fun to use or upgrade then a airsoft gun. speedball is fun but theirs no realism to it , its all how fats you can run and walk the trigger. but if you like millitary simulation id go with airsoft

@BrklnComrade301 You know what diecast is right? it's pot metal... polymer is stronger than that... not to mention the only plastic airsoft guns are entry level guns and guns that are meant to be plastic (G36, Tavor, FN F2000, ect...). take a look at the Systema PTW, I got the chance to game with one and it is just as durable as the real steel. The guy I borrowed it from even dropped it out a 2 story window onto cement, not a scratch.

ummm i call bull shit i wanna see the actual continuous shot with the shot and the hit not just some guy saying hit because with the wind, natural air resistance the 550 fps that shot should of at least taken 3 1/2 seconds to complete where as it look slightly under 3 seconds. im saying no way.
At 2.81 Joules, a .36 would average at around 176 FPS over 100 yards, taking in account the air resistance. That would mean the BB actually hit him in 1.70 seconds. That is less than half your assumption of 3.50 seconds.
@Neotyguy40 ok one its america enough with the metrics two its very hard for me to admit when im wrong but you are right . but i still find it extremely hard to believe that a round bb with even the slightest of wind could travel in such a straight line (i mean no side to side or drop... he's not raising the barrel to adjust for bullet drop) for 100 yards. Thats about the distance that most .22 rifles start bullet drops so im still calling bull shit.
Let's say wind is about a constant 20 mph (which is more than reasonable if we think about how he would probably wait for wind to die down slightly). At .36g, even if the wind was completely horizontal compared to the BB (pretty unlikely), the BB would only deviate at around 32.3 cm (just over a foot) each second. If we believe the BB took about 1.70 seconds to travel, the BB would be deviating 54.91 cm (just under 2 feet) over the distance. That is under nonideal conditions.

And it's not that hard to get a BB to reach that far. It's difficult to get one that's ACCURATE that far, but not impossible. In airsoft, we use something called a hop-up system that allows the BB to travel a lot further than normal.
Don't get me wrong, I play paintball just as much as airsoft and even I wish that they could reach that far, however I don't think you should disregard the technology and science in airsoft. It's much further than paintball, and you can even find people try to integrate airsoft tech into paintball. I'm actually trying to implement a hop-up style system in my paintball gun.
You have yo take in affect that most airsoft guns dont have rifled barrels and it depends on the weight of the airsoft bb's you are using.Now if he was using real air rifle like a break barrel one(Not shooting it a a person lol)you can hit a taget at 300ft no problem.
@Sturmmann I am confused on why you came here to challenge the man's marksmanship. This video is showing that a 300ft shot can be done with the restrictions that limit a field legal airsoft gun(meaning it's shot at people) has to comply, not whether he can shoot. Also, are you trying to say that varmint are more of a challenge than another human being who is hunting you as well. People don't build these things just too see how far they shoot, they do it to give them an edge when they play.
@dressedgull wrong the fps is 550 when at a chrono (550 with a .2g bbs most likely) then as the bb flys it starts to lose speed also if they chrono with a .2g bbs and he is using .36g bbs so think it would be about 420-440fps

i just think you would have to be pointing the gun in more of a extreme ark then he was doning in the video to get that distance and for a target he should be using a jug of water or a can with water in it so we can see the hit

@BrklnComrade301 You know what diecast is right? it's pot metal... polymer is stronger than that... not to mention the only plastic airsoft guns are entry level guns and guns that are meant to be plastic (G36, Tavor, FN F2000, ect...). take a look at the Systema PTW, I got the chance to game with one and it is just as durable as the real steel. The guy I borrowed it from even dropped it out a 2 story window onto cement, not a scratch.

ummm i call bull shit i wanna see the actual continuous shot with the shot and the hit not just some guy saying hit because with the wind, natural air resistance the 550 fps that shot should of at least taken 3 1/2 seconds to complete where as it look slightly under 3 seconds. im saying no way.

At 2.81 Joules, a .36 would average at around 176 FPS over 100 yards, taking in account the air resistance. That would mean the BB actually hit him in 1.70 seconds. That is less than half your assumption of 3.50 seconds.

Thats about the distance that most .22 rifles start bullet drops so im still calling bull shit.

Let's say wind is about a constant 20 mph (which is more than reasonable if we think about how he would probably wait for wind to die down slightly). At .36g, even if the wind was completely horizontal compared to the BB (pretty unlikely), the BB would only deviate at around 32.3 cm (just over a foot) each second. If we believe the BB took about 1.70 seconds to travel, the BB would be deviating 54.91 cm (just under 2 feet) over the distance. That is under nonideal conditions.

And it's not that hard to get a BB to reach that far. It's difficult to get one that's ACCURATE that far, but not impossible. In airsoft, we use something called a hop-up system that allows the BB to travel a lot further than normal.

Don't get me wrong, I play paintball just as much as airsoft and even I wish that they could reach that far, however I don't think you should disregard the technology and science in airsoft. It's much further than paintball, and you can even find people try to integrate airsoft tech into paintball. I'm actually trying to implement a hop-up style system in my paintball gun.

You have yo take in affect that most airsoft guns dont have rifled barrels and it depends on the weight of the airsoft bb's you are using.Now if he was using real air rifle like a break barrel one(Not shooting it a a person lol)you can hit a taget at 300ft no problem.

@Sturmmann I am confused on why you came here to challenge the man's marksmanship. This video is showing that a 300ft shot can be done with the restrictions that limit a field legal airsoft gun(meaning it's shot at people) has to comply, not whether he can shoot. Also, are you trying to say that varmint are more of a challenge than another human being who is hunting you as well. People don't build these things just too see how far they shoot, they do it to give them an edge when they play.

@dressedgull wrong the fps is 550 when at a chrono (550 with a .2g bbs most likely) then as the bb flys it starts to lose speed also if they chrono with a .2g bbs and he is using .36g bbs so think it would be about 420-440fps

And lol, it takes more knowledge to upgrade an airsoft gun to shoot 100 yards accurately than it does to simply spend 200 bucks on a 10/22 and a mil dot scope and shoot 200-300 yards.
