dont think all these things are nice... i live in socal and i dive sometimes, and these fucking seals are like stray dogs. they will bark, and try to bite you, usually the sea lions do that. the harbor seals are the ones that are chill and will come up to you and say hi

No, sea lions have different digestive tracks than that of a dog, sea lions also have different diets and aren't domesticated, these animals don't deserve to be reduced to brushing their teeth like a human while they would never do this in the wild, it isn't a need. I find it sad how man people find this funny and not saddened by what our culture has become.

It's a preventative measure for the sea lion's health. THey don't do this because it's cute or funny; it's one less illness to worry about the sea lions getting.
