I've seen those first clips before (the black and white ones without gloves) they're not actual clips from fights. They're choreographed, it's just for show, a demonstration.

yeah its called Muay Boran. Its a form of Thai Boxing thats been outlawed 100 years ago because it was brutal. Too many people died from it. So ..we now have "sport" muay thai...which was not meant for the battle field unlike muay boran.

yes you are right. Mauy thai is simply mauy boran without the fancy moves and deadlier strikes. But the kicks , punches and elbows remain the same.

@aa3gunner True, not to mention Muay Boran has many moves similar to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, such as joint locks, arm manipulation, and a lot of bone breaking locks as well as ground techniques. Watch some of "Kru Preang Mae Mai Muay Thai" techniques, I believe he has some stuff on youtube. Mae Mai is different that M/Boran, I believe from a different time frame, but till same basis of 8 limbed combat.
