The problem with top gear america is they chose the hosts wrong. The british top gear hosts are tv journalists and presenters. Think of top gear with Tom Brokaw, Conan O'Brien, and Andy Rooney. For one thing... Tanner Foust should be the stig... not a presenter because race car drivers aren't funny. They should replace him with Leno. They should replace Rutledge Wood with someone like Mike Rowe. Not much car history there but a good TV personality.

I love this show, although I do agree the script is killing it.

Getting pulled over by the police right in front of the camera crew and stopping conveniently in front of the chase car? most likely scripted.

The car seems to be the Key's flagship police car too.

I've been to Florida and Key West myself. I've driven on that highway and sailed in those waters, swam with a wild shark (that was... fun) and it's beyond any other trip I've taken. warm and sunny with good food, quite literally paradise.
