Yup. You might know this, but he made it with his father even plenty of years before even being in 1984,... I think. Its been a while since I've read Queen: The Early Years...almost thoroughly. You might like it.

Great book. I learned a great deal about every member of Queen and not once did I think, "Why don't they just get back to Freddie?" I'd recommend it to any Queen fan, great or small.
