@RobbHare Back in 1968 I would cringe watching the video portions but its obviously a case of their record label putting pressure on them to conform to what was then a major drive to make a new package for music.
I don't think Trinity was too well known to the general public during their time. I know I didn't hear of Brian Auger till the mid 70s and never really paid much attention till recently. Better late than never i guess. They were really quite good.
SHAME SHE HATED THIS VIBE WHEN SHE MOVED WEST COAST. AND GOT ALL JAZZY WITHOUT SOUL...NOTHINGS WITHOUT SOUL JULIE, THATS WHAT GETS YOU DANCIN INTO ETERNITY.
@jcpfahey Hi, I'm a big Julie Driscol fan though don't know too much about her biographically, I know she married the Jazz musician Tippet, so I'm interested in what made you say what you did in your post there, cheers, Lisa.
Love the Big Ben intro. Then we are treated to a pop art video showcasing a brillant vocal Driscoll performance and Auger keyboard romp. Its does NOT get any better than this!!!!!

@monkeysoulpoet Not as comatose as Charlie Watts!

Does anyone else think Brian Auger looks like Malcolm McDowell from Clockwork Orange?
blackhazzzard 2 months ago 2
@blackhazzzard I have to say that I don't see it. He reminds me more of Steve Winwood (who was, of course, also a keyboardist) or Kenneth Branagh.

@pickinthatbanjo That's psychedelic pop-art for ya. Taking the color images of comic books and "acidifying" them.
