  • when he did songs like this you could tell he was a good singer. rock on, shaun!

  • I know what you mean MadamReena...took me down memory lane too. What a happy and relaxing moment:). Don't think I'll ever get over him. He was my major teen idol and oh the crush...lol. I still have a fancy for him. I know he's married but at least I can feel the way I do and listen to his music:). Thank you Shaun...you're the greatest!

  • Wow. I haven't heard this song in over 30 years and it instantly brought me back to being 14 again and so hopelessly infatuated with him. Those memories are priceless. Thanks for shaking them loose.

  • oh its seveth grade again,i wish we could go back to those times, its so boring now in 2011

  • Great song.

    Thanks.

    George Vreeland Hill

  • I have liked Shaun for a long time. I wished I could get more of his albums or cd's. My Anut go me one of his albums for me for one of my birthdays when I was little and I have played it to the ground. Now my daughter is into the Hardy Boys. She now likes Shaun also and her birthday is next week and she wants the music to be Shaun Cassidy. If anyone out there knows where I can get my hands on some more albums please let me know. You can email me @ karenvermillion@hotmail.com

  • That Ain't Shawn Cassidy singing!!! You mentioned he sounds a lot like Davy Jones of the Monkees. That because IT IS DAVY JONES OF THE MONKEES. Check your resources before posting FOOL!

  • Love this, blast from the past.......

  • Horribly blurry pictures, but thanks for the song.

  • This will be Justin Beiber in a year or two just a memory.

  • I am sure I heard this regularly played on the Dutch service of either Radio North Sea International or Veronica during the early 1970's. It still sounds great.

  • No matter how bad the singer , they can't screw this song up

Its just to good of a song

  • i love shaun cassidy he is sooooooooooooo cute <3 xx

  • There are only a handful of old records I still play, and this one tops the list. Twenty plus years and I still love this song. Thanks for sharing.

  • Oh hell...I thought this was Davy Jones. Sounds just like him.

  • This song is from 1976, and was on his first album. It was released first in Europe & Australia and was a big international hit, but did not chart in the U.S. even though all of his first three singles reached the Top 10.

  • Thanks for sharing this song with us. I love Shaun and he is still awesome when I saw him in Oprah this month.

  • This was a remake of the BACK side of the Neon Philharmonic's song "Good Morning Girl", originally entitled "Good Morning Girl, Revisited", and Shaun's version was a rather big hit in all of Europe and also in Japan.

  • This is Davy Jones, people.

  • @sworker48 its really not, does sound similar, but its Shaun cassidy. i remember it well

  • wheres his song ,,,, holiday that was a great song

  • Happy 52nd Birthday Shaun Paul Cassidy Born on September 27,1958. See I always Remember Your B-Day because once I'm A Fan I'm one for Life.

  • Thanks!!! I had over 200 pinups and tshirt concert stuff that i threw away when i was 22 years old and really regret it . He was SO AWESOME!!!

  • Wow, My old heart throb, Shaun Cassidy...I was so in love, he just didn't know me..lol and Elvis also had my heart. Thanks for posting and sharing. Watching theses videos of Shaun has started my heart beating again and brought a sincere smile to my face. Thanks again for posting!

  • LOL I still have the first 3 Lp's of his hahahaha

  • I love Shaun! I still get jitters watching him...It's like I'm 13 all over again. Thanks for posting!

  • He was the only teen idol i was hot for(: When i was 12 i got frt row seats for his concert in W.P.B. Fl. He got sick and they CANCELED the concert. I cried for days. However 10yrs later, i gave birth to my daughter, and while in recovery my husband walked in with 2 tkts to "Burt Reynolds dinner theather" to see Shaun in a play there. Well, Frt row at the play, and afterword back stage to meet him!!! When he walked over all he was wearing was skin tite pants! WELL WORTH THE 10yr WAIT!!!!!

  • I still have all his albums, a file with thousands of Teen Beat/Tiger Beat posters, some concert stubs, a program and a pennant from when I saw him in concert for my 13th birthday. I think I will go dig them out now. :) Thanks for posting this and for the trip down memory lane!

  • This is a fantastic trip in the way back machine for me. I was so in love with Shaun Cassidy! I had well over 200 pictures and posters of him and my parents took me to his concert in Shreveport, LA at Hirsch Memorial Colesium. I remember it like it was yesterday although it was 30+ years ago.

  • OH MY flashback. Even though as an adult, I have not been able to GET IT why I thought both he and this music were TO DIE for, I along with every other tween, teen, or young gal JUST DID? lol We cut school when we learned The Hardy Boys were filming at the Olive Rec (local park), running there like RABID DOGS?

  • I too had a bedroom that was a shrine to Shaun (and Daviv before him) !! My older sister had the hook-up @ a record store & scored 2 life size cardboard promo silohuettes of Shaun for me!!! I was a happy girl!!!

  • I still love Shaun Cassidy, he's one of my guys that help Josh Groban and Michael Jackson pretect me! LOL and he's made of Zanny!

  • you'll always be my First Love!!!

  • Shaun!!!I love you!!!!you are my first love!!!

  • hello shaun how old are you now, i have crush on you during my elementary grades i thought i was 8 to nine years old ha ha ha ha

  • i love this !!!

  • Funny how they've reissued original albums by David Cassidy, The Partridge Family, The Osmonds, Bobby Sherman......but there are no original Shaun Cassidy albums on CD. Funny, why not? His first few LP's were pretty solid. They should be out there.

  • The Neon Harmonic version was the

original, from the late 60's. It's one of

my favorite pop songs. No, it's not funky.

  • I was in Niagra Falls Canada in a restaurant ealy in the morning.Needless to say there was a crowd of waitresses around him:)

  • I loved this time. Still I long to go back.

  • @winterweib me too man i miss those days i think he s still gorgerous as ever and still love him today

  • This is from a Neon Philharmonic album called "The Moth Confesses," which composer Tupper Saussy called a "phonograph opera." It's excellent, and even better is the Neon Philharmonic double CD, "Brilliant Colors."

  • You have to wonder, the classic rock stations are all "we play 70s" but then why don't they play our Shawn?!!

  • @LinusandSally i know i wish they would i ve got all his music on cd i had them made i listen to them everyday night he has a gorgerous voice and those eyes they re so dreamy

  • thank you!!!

  • The neon philharmonics version is more funky ,not that either makes sense!this sorta tells us what happened to her.LOL

  • it was one of my favourite songs in the 70ies. Thank you Shaun!

  • The good old days...It's a pity they don't play Shaun Cassidy, Leif Garrett or Bobby Sherman songs on the radio anymore.

  • dont i know it all they play now is crap so i had to burn myself some Leif CDs :)

  • @fishandfestival Yep I agree with that ...

  • im still longing to hear the songs of this cute shaun .. please let it to play in the radio , mtv. paging radio jockys , mtv hosts. i love him so much

  • Shaun Cassidy is the best!!!

  • I used to have most of this posters on my wall. Nice to see them again.

  • thanks for putting the lyrics down - never knew what he said on a couple of those lines, but memorized the sound. Such a nice voice!

  • Shaun Cassidy! wow, brings back a lot of memories! i still have his vinyl album somewhere and i'd love to play it again someday. he may have disappeared from the music business but good to know he's a successful tv producer now.

  • He rocks!!!!!!!!

  • sounds more like davy jones..

  • some picks, he looks like roger taylor from Queen

  • This is Shaun's 1st hit in the Philippines.

  • Love his singing, and thanks for the photos. I have the album Shaun Cassidy, and frequently listen to it. Why is it so sodding hard to find this particular album on CD? Thanks for the post - it's great!

  • Well. I have not heard this song since I was a child and It's still the best song that bring this warm feeling inside back than, Shaun Cassidy you were my first love and I thank you for that,

  • exellent voice.....

    shaun was exelent

  • What's really funny is when i was about 12-13 years old i had alot of these pictures and i had his albums... oh times goes so fast! My kids would laughing me out of the room!

  • i feel like im nine years old again when i hear this , Shaun Cassidy and his music was a very special part of my childhood.

  • Brings back my childhood!!!!! Thanks for posting!

  • I wish he still had the same voice. I'm guessing this was recorded back when he had his pointy Irish nose, before he had the tip clipped off to look less like his father.

  • When I was a teenager he was my idol. You bring to me back good memories. Thanks for sharing.

  • Whether it was studio sweetener or Mike Curb was pinching SC's scote-sack, he sounds a lot like like Davy Jones of The Monkees.

Compare it with SC's tenor-baritone on "That's Rock & Roll", etc.

Yeah, it's guilty pop but it does bring back a mudslide of memories.

    Thanks for posting this, egaygigi.

  • you are welcome

  • join the club with the mudslide of memories and I was born in 1974. My sister was born in 1969 so that was probably her record and I just liked playing it because it had somewhat of a catchy beat. I wonder if my mom or sister saved that vinyl record to be honest.

  • @TumescentInNYC I thought the exact same thing the 1st time i heard this!! Love him anyway!!

  • @TumescentInNYC I thought it sounded like Davy Jones too

  • Oh, I forgot to mention to also listen to the follow up version of "The Neon Philharmonic - Morning Girl, Later"

    ...it's funny!

  • Hey girls, not trying to burst anyones bubble here, but Shauns voice sounds a bit like that of a young woman, and the music sounds chipmunk likesorry, not trying to be mean. I was a kid back then too, but couldnt see myself getting all excited by his voice. He was cute, but his half- brother David, was better lookingat least to me.

You have to check out the real deal by Neon Philharmonic from The Moth Confesses Album 1969...now thats a manly mans voice a girl/woman can reminisce to.

  • this song reminds me of being a kid and happy. It's one of my all time favorites from one of my all time favorite albums!

  • ugh, leave Parker out of it, he just does not compare! lol, I guess I am just an old Shaun fan! hehe, This was one of my favourite songs ever! Very cool, thanks!

  • I forgot to mention one last thing in my review which was Shaun Cassidy was sexy back in the 70s ugh how I wish I could go back in time to live through the 70s and 80s that would be so SWEET

  • I love this song it's my fav Shaun Cassidy song my mom was a teen in the 70s and she got me into listning all this old artist and becuase of it I wish I could have lived in the 70s becuase I love a whole lot of the music back then my friends at school think i'm weird becuase of it I swear if you look on my ZUNE all you see for most artist are either Kiss,Cheap Trick,Donny Osmond,Leif Garrett,Shaun Cassidy,David Cassidy, and the list goes on yeah so mostly 70s and 80s songs are on my zune XD

  • bye

all my friends call me a slut LOL Zi

  • WOW, I remember playing the record over and over again just to learn the words to every song!!! What great memories!! I think I will download a few of "my teen dream's songs". I wonder if my husband will like him. hahahahahaha

  • shaun is part of my early teenage life, and it was lovely to see all those photos of shaun, wheneven i saw his pictures i scream out loud, and now my heart still sweet smiling. thanks for posting it and i believe a lot of people feel the same way as i do!!

  • Oh, yes! That's for sure! :)

  • i still feel the same way too he makes my heart skip a beat and he s my inspiration now he really saved my life even tho we did nt met but in1990 i lost my mom and my stepdad on the same day from a car wreck i wanted to end my life and then i was listening to his songs i felt like the songs was trying to tell me something i really believe that i ll always will be his fan

  • his voice smoothing our heart! it must be a hard time for u and i'm glad this song stayed in yr heart at that time & forever.

  • Thanks! I'VE AWAYS BEEN "SHAUN CRAZY."

  • same here..

  • As A TEEN I HAD 42 POSTERS OF HIM! AND IN THE EARLY 80'S HE CALLED ME ON THE PHONE!...AND LIKE A FOOL...I SCREAM MY HEAD OFF! I TELL YOU THIS BECAUSE IT IS 100% TRUE. I HAVE STARTED...BUT NOT FINISHED WRITING ABOUT THIS.

  • oh i believe you! come on finish what you've started and share it. wow!

  • I finished it...and mailed it to him :)

  • @ytkmh123 You were so lucky! I had a bunch of posters of Shaun on my walls, but I know I didn't have that many - my mom wouldn't allow it - she said it was tacky. I put up as many posters of Shaun and Bobby Sherman as I could possibly fit in the small space she allowed me. Guess that's why my two girls had their walls covered in posters of Justin Timberlake and N'Sync. There was no way I was denying them the pleasure I didn't have. I would have screamed if he had called me, too, lol.

  • Thanks for bringing back such great memories of my youth. I loved Shaun Cassidy then and now. After watching this last night my husband told me I was singing it in my sleep and I woke up in a great mood. Need more days like that.

    AKL

  • oohh a fanatic... like me..lol

  • LOL! FUNNY,AND UNDERSTANDABLE. :)

  • Thank you! What a great song and trip down memory lane.

  • he's still awesome......

  • I love him, love him, love him! Shaun Cassidy, forever a part of my childhood. Great collection of photos!

  • thanks!

  • Did the record producers alter Shaun's voice to make him sound younger like they did to his brother David? He sounds like he's about 12 here!

  • Isn't this Davy Jones from the Monkees?

  • no he's not davy jones...

  • When I first heard this song on my Da Doo Ron Ron album, I thought the same thing. Especially at first. He sounds exactly like Davy Jones with the English accent and everything. :)

Shaun's voice is amazing. I wish he was still singing.

  • same ere....

    but i am only 15....

  • This was great to see Shaun Cassidy videos! Thanks!
