i always felt he was like a "realistic psycho" character. some of the other psycho characters had differnt types styles, and great promos also. but im sure anyone would agree jake the sankes promos are some of the best of that ear , probably the best ? , its certianly a staple of that whole era.
There's something very authentically scary about Jake. Listening to many of the great promo wrestlers they usually use their own personality and amp it up to make the character. Makes for a scary thought.
Shame about Jake. Always loved him, entertaining as hell. One of the best ever without a doubt.
Yea he may just be the best promo guy. Hogan never could do a promo like Jake!! hot Rod is great also. I still love alkl that Randy Savage stuff,but Jake is always classic!!

infact i dont think there can be a best ,there was so meany differnt stories witch indavidual flair that to compare them is quite hard
but my favourite promo is the one with jake and warrior , whre jake burys warrior.i could have watched a feature lengnth film around that whole thing.
