I thought they were setting Hillary up for a 2016 run (and a 2012 VP run), this quitting came kind of out of blue for me...

The fact that Biden does a somewhat racist gaffe and the media doesn't react is because he's not a bigoted racist like some republicans are. Context matters. There are definitely some cases that get blown way out of proportions though such as Santorums "Blah people" gaffe. I think that it gets too much focus in general.

I believe Hilary may be leaving politics because she knows how bad things really are for this country, I don't like to have a negative outlook on our future, but I can't help but feel that things are going to get MUCH worse for this country. The biggest threat to us is the HUGE debt looming over us, and the only candidate actually planning of reducing it is being shunned by the corporate media. When the dollar crashes, we will ALL be in big trouble.
