What's the BEST trade route? Trading so far has been VERY balanced, thus Boring and makes continuing exploration pointless.

Feels like they've TIMED how much money you gain by each route and put so you never find that one BEST, because there isnt one that whoops.

140 bases visited, I'm not exploring anymore.

@mastela88 use FL companion if you haven't already. I run duritium from omega 49 to yukon, takes about 20 minutes and profit is decent, boring as hell tho. With update 3 they took out alot of good trading routes and as you put it "balanced" it out to where no one makes any money anymore, thus i stopped playing

@dschleys777 You can get a ship in the unknown sector, a nomad hatchling but no i didn't do this for the ship, just the adventure.

I found the Rattlesnake, But then flew in a random direction. I thought that you had to fly as low as possible to get to the gate :D. Anyway tanks for the video, i may go exploring when i get a better ship .

i went in the system but now i'm trapped there, the jump gate doesn't work anymore!!! please help that is my best char...

@dannyblueray Fly all the way up to sector E1, there is a jump hole there, it takes you out at the texas jump hole in penn system, if you keep having trouble you could always use the wiki.

thanks thats very helpful...however i got a problem, once I tried to enter the alien jump gate in kansas and it denied access...you got any idea of why that could happen?

@TheTacho2011 you probably have some kind of ID like a liberty rouge or another faction ID mounted, which in some cases does not matter. Are you rep'd with any factions? like either max friendly or flashing? if so that may be the issue. comment back or pm me for further questions.

@MelficeElstang I got a freelancer ID and basically I'm neutral to most factions. I am enemy to other factions such as Liberty Rogues, Xenos, Mollys...terrorist or pirate factions...However I happen to be friendly but not flashing with Border World Exports. Thats about it...

@TheTacho2011 being friendly with BWE shouldn't be a problem, neither should being enemies with other factions but that might be the case, if you want you can screen your rep chart and email it to me at melfice.elstang@gmail.com I'd also talk with an admin or other players to see if this is a glitch or if others have had the same problem. cuz it should work. Also might depend on which server you're on.

@MelficeElstang Well I dont know if this is important but Im playing on Freelancer RP 24/7 I guess thats the name and my level is 52...do you have a freelancer account? maybe we could chat some time in Sirius..

@TheTacho2011 ok that server enforces the rules more since its the main server. Level shouldn't be an issue, its probably something with the reps, if you got a trader character you could start a new character for neutral exploring, i did that and filled out the whole map. I used to play FL, i haven't in a while cuz something always happens making me start over with no money. I might get on in the future. I know Contaan plays on the main server as an admin, talk to him in vent hes a good guy.

The Shrine won't ever attack you as far as I know... unless you shoot it...

@BloodyGrovyle yeah it wont unless you shoot it, but on the main server a nomad clan called the Keepers hangs out there alot and they will shoot you, sorry for late reply

No they don't, I have been there at the Shrine with my LSF character twice and with my Morph once and I've never saw any Keepers there.

I have seen Keepers however at the New York, Dublin and Omicron (more specifically Delta) and other systems.

@Kizerlk07 someone removed your comment or is flaggin it as spam, but i had an admin send me the thr prision system and to explore every system like i said, i played SP on disco 4.85 and set it up to all factions are friendly, including the nomads (had to do some tweaking) and then i roamed around, and thats whats fun because all the cool stufff in disco is hard to find in normal gameplay the nomad systems are bad ass, the guard systems have some extreme defenses, etc. explore it have fun.

that unknown system is kinda eerie but i would go there in real life

and i found it using the freelancer tool or whatever

and i was exploring the Kansas system high and low

and the gigantic ominous purple cloud you were talking about is technically called a nebula but you probably already knew that

i like to frequent the PTC server so if you want you can find me there

@TimtheBigDaddy i know i've been attacked by other players there and most of the time in that sector my radar isn;'t working right. i know on one server they modded disco and had cloaked ships and thats the only server i've seen them in. other than that if i am attacked its in the nebula.

@MelficeElstang hey, My Character 'Death_Angel' on the Discovery USA 24/7 server is in kansas, you should help me get in. It keeps saying "Dock Denied" everytime I try to dock the jumpgate.

@SIRMDMonster that means that you're allied with one perticular faction, or you have a ship other than a civilian one. Make a new char if you can and get an eagle with civilian ID and try that, eagle with full load out is about 3-4 million. It should let you dock then i did it in my eagle with freelancer ID just the other night.

That's what a loved about freelancer vanilla and freelancer discovery. Exotic systems, colorful clouds and stars, ect..the mystery and thrill behind each system is what made the game for me. I used to always be paranoid about encountering hostile enemies and having to dogfight or run away too :P

@LordTyrannus Well then you'll love my upcoming LP of FL which i will start on soon, but yeah even tho i know all of disco mod i still find it fun to fly around not knowing what will happen (but now i always know where i am even in the sectors where maps do not work) im going to start playing some other mods probably on lan with a few buddies im not a RPer person i just want to fly and fight
