  • Love your head bonking at the end. Seems that's what I want to do at times as well. The movie may be good, may be bad. We'll find out in December.

  • Aawww ahhahaha *face desk* at the end. Oh man. i feel you, buddy.

  • HAHAHA! I loved the "This is what the report actually says". You said it was from South Park in a previous video!

  • i'm becoming more and more upset as time goes on...

honestly, like the whole Susan/Caspian thing didn't already make his romance in this book awkward... now they're adding Edmund too?!

and it also seems like they're destroying all the mesages Lewis was trying to get across. they had better get some good quotes in there.

  • Fighting over the same girl. -.-'......GOODNESSSSSSSS!!!!!! This is stupid. Narnia isn't an overdramatic romance novel...

  • They think people are always dumb enough to think wrong the all the time. Darkness inside yourself?? Again, 7 SWORDS?!?! EWWWWWWWW. Edmund and Caspian?!?! Really? -.-'

  • In a way i think the real transformation happens after Aslan undragons him. When Eustace is a dragon he realizes that he is not doing the right thing. It is like because he becomes a dragon he realizes that he was wrong all along, but not until Aslan undragons him does he start transforming into a new person.

It is very tricky and i am not sure if i am making sense, but i think Aslan has to make the first move. The transformation happens because of the undragoning.

  • I think with the undragoning what is important in the book is that Aslan comes to Eustace. Eustace is laying there and he is just lost and doesn't know what is going to become of him and he looks up and sees Aslan coming towards him.

It is Aslan that makes the first move. Eustace is completely lost and Aslan tells him to follow him and the he has to undress and then when he tries to do it himself that Aslan must do it for him.

  • Why is it that when two movies end up being so great, the directer gets booted off and replaces with another one?? Just... why!?

  • Much of the dialogue in Batman Begins really laboured the point about the theme of the movie being "Fear", but it wasn't in any way to the detriment of the movie, so i wouldn't really worry about Coriakin's diaglogue over-emphasising the idea of "temptation" in such an obvious way.

  • lol, your fuming is exactly how I felt when I read the reviews.

The filmmakers' hidden agenda is too make Caspian a borderline womanizer. I am so sure of it :( That, and the white witch are on pretty equal levels of inexcusable stupidity for me.

I guess I'll have to get used to the idea of a white witch in the last battle while I'm at it, because that is what's coming(Oh wait, I'm not supposed to joke...)

  • The Annoyage Of The Head Banger... ;)

  • I have a strong feeling this movie is going to be the last. No one has any interest in this series, except the readers of the novels. Too bad because IF the filmmakers had stuck to the source material, this could have been a great movie...

  • I think VDT would have to be a TOTAL box office bomb for us to not see a SC movie.

VDT will do fine. It's a PG fantasy film being released at xmas time in 3D. I don't expect it to set any records but it will do just fine.

  • @GPuddle And it's targeted at kids, which is guaranteed money.

  • @GPuddle Don't forget that they're doing the same thing they did with PC. Plopping it between to blockbuster sequels. IE: Harry Potter and Tron.

  • But Narnia is much better suited as a xmas film than a Summer film. PC never really fit.

LWW released five days before King Kong, and easily won the box office battle.

  • @GPuddle Thanks for your response GPuddle. I see your point and I believe you, that it would have been better in xmas. However, King Kong wasn't a sequel. I believe there was more love for LWW than a film that was based on an old black and white movie and a remake in the 70's that most young people haven't seen. Most poeple know Indyanna, Ironman, and in this case Harry, and (in a lesser extent Tron. Allot of people I know liked PC. I don't want to to right.

  • @Elyk91388 You mean no Silver Chair, no Last Battle, no Horse and his Boy and The Magician's Nephew!?? F***!!! >:C Now I'm 10 times pissier!

  • @Elyk91388 I don't think that the only interest is from those who have already read the books, but I do think that those fans of the books are being driven away because the movies are straying so far from the books they love

  • @Elyk91388 And I think that by losing the book fans, they're losing enough revenue to maybe kill the series. In my estimation, it's already dead (I don't plan on seeing VotDT myself)

  • I wonder how likely it would be for someone else to try doing the whole Narnia series if Dawn Treader bombs. I totally agree with you that this movie isn't sounding too promising. What are they thinking?!

I was pretty opposed before to Eustace fighting the sea serpent as a dragon, but I think it could work after all...

  • Careful with the head banging...

I'm also dismayed that they feel they have to go with the typical Hollywood cliches.

The way they've been going, if the series ends here and we have to wait for another movie series to begin, it's looking more like that I'll be fine with that.
