The track conveys a rather eerie atmosphere. The melody is cool, even if the shrill ambient noise does hurt my ears a bit. But I'm recovering from a condition that has caused intolerance of noise anyway.
So unique and innovative. Fantastic work! The music could serve also as a soundtrack to a scene in a 'dark' film. You should think about scoring for theatrical, long-form films if you haven't already done that sort of thing...
@Beatleberry thank you for a very inspiring comment. . dark film, eh? slasher, perhaps.. Lol. anyways, i am thinking actually along that line... keep you posted, Ward.
@situatist Actually, I was thinking 'dark' as in film noir. Listening to it again, I think it would also work for an avant garde dark comedy (like a Coen Brothers film). I think it would also work for the opening sequence to "Once Upon A Time In The West", a film that has my all-time favorite soundtrack -- but the opening sequence has no music at all. I think your piece ("Elusive Mona") could actually make that sequence better!
