I always liked Will Rogers but far more so after visiting the Will Rogers museum in Pryor OK. His was the secondest biggest funeral in US history, save Abraham Lincoln. I can be weary of tributes but I really like this one. Nice song, good production, fine video.

I am actually the owner of a low budget production company... we are nothing right now, but we are making money. My hopes are to make a made for T.V. movie in the near future... I would love to do it on Will Rogers. He is my hero. The only man in history that made it big for being himself. I love this song, and would love to share it with my production crew. I am, however, active military and it will be a while before I have the time to do much...

This song was written in the early '90's and I was the music publisher for Tydus Alley (one of the writers) at the time. I'd love to see this song used in a movie or doccumentary about Will Rogers or better yet, recorded by a contemporary artist. It's a great song. Thank you for the comment.

I do a several tribute acts to Will Rogers and have dedicated the majority of my adult life to my generation knowing the difference between Will Rogers and Roy Rogers. back in the late seventies ,vietnam veteran Gary Alan Brumley wrote the best song ever about Will Rogers which aired on kids world PBS 1999
