He would have if he knew Feigen was hauling ass behind him. He was in the lead until about 10 feet from the finish and apparently thought he had it so didn't kick that hard.
that sucks so bad...but...well...he shouldnt have eased up. lol, he should've made like me, and just all out sprinted like faster than he ever has before...i do this because i'm never in the lead, and the like 2 times i ever have been (in track) i didnt wanna give it up, no matter how far ahead i was
i especially like at about 0:24. Springer experiences something he's probably not planning for, with Odecious (spelling?) Lloyd from Cranston East passing him. the reaction is subtle, but you have to wonder what Springer is thinking as somebody tries to take the lead from him less than 400 meters in...
Lol, yeah Odecious always goes out fast. I think springer was thinking more "WTF" than recognizing him as an actual threat.
Springer is just top notch though. One of the best runners RI has ever produced for sure. I would definitely expect to see more records fall in indoor and outdoor and hopefully he'll perform well on the national level.
woah, mike radcliffe...you ran for pilgrim last year, right?
i finished either right before or after you in last year's state meet, i forget which, but i saw the name at the end of the video and recognized it then. weird coincidence, but anyways, great footage on this video though with the mile marks.
Yeah man. I'm gonna go ahead and guess that you're Jon Corbett from Portsmouth? You finished right ahead of me. But I'll have you know I ran absolutely terrible in that race and should have been well under 18. Hahaha, I hated XC so much compared to track.
Nice time improvement in this years meet. 16:30s as a senior, maybe?
this is great I like how you got footage at each mile marker. That's my favorite course, props to springer, you're right, indoors this year will be wild
lol, trust me, running up indian hill almost every day (the big steep one) gets old in a hurry...but you have a point, i can't think of anywhere else i'd wanna race
I JUST SAW ME!!!
haha but i was no where near the front
