  • i see that over owego every night, its got the same kind of thng, but its closer to me, with binoculars i can see it in a traangle shape glow and its flashing in red, blue, green, white, and yellow.

  • usually there are a few in the sky just like that doing the same thing. i see them out there a few times a week and i hve no idea what the hell they are

  • I see something like this every night around 5:30. It then moves across the sky slowly, so, like many other people here, you are not alone :)

  • It's been up there for a year, i've watched this thing..it's always in the same area. Ive seen a few of them. I try to show people and they say" oh it's a satellite" It can't be a satellite as it's too low in the sky for that.

  • The first pair consists of two bright, large type-G giant stars, both with a radius around 10 times the Sun's, in close orbit around each other. These two stars are thought to be cooling and expanding on their way to becoming red giants. The second pair, around 10,000 astronomical units from the first, consists of two faint, small and relatively cool red dwarfs.[11][12] The Capella system is relatively close, at only 42.2 light-years (12.9 pc) from Earth.

  • Wikipedia--- Capella (α Aurigae, α Aur, Alpha Aurigae, Alpha Aur) is the brightest star in the constellation Auriga, the sixth brightest star in the night sky and the third brightest star in the northern celestial hemisphere, after Arcturus and Vega. Although it appears to be a single star to the naked eye, it is actually a star system of four stars in two binary pairs.

  • I just saw that a few mins ago

  • thats aliens using morse code theyre saying fuck you fags

  • i see this to this is my close up video as the response, im from tomah wisconsin plz responed i want to figure this out maybe we can help each other, thank you

  • seeing this in San Diego, California right now :) def not no UFO

i'm guessing it's just what we think it is ... a star

  • Large dust particles in our atmosphere and outerspace will move between the star and your eyes. As they go in between they actually cover the entire star making it appear that its blinking.

  • i been watching a weird violent blinking star in my area.... it was in perfect alignment with the constellations... and moved across the sky ALL night with the other stars... i believe we're witnessing a galactic event that took place thousands of years ago...... not aliens... creepy shit.

  • i saw that a few minutes ago and ontime34 i dont belive in niburu\planet x im in hawaii

  • i put this question on yahoo awnsers and they said it can be a astriod or a satalite

  • i see this in south dakota.

today actually thats what brought it to my attention. awesome video though!

i see the colors to and i know exactly what your talking about. it like stays still but yet it glows green red blue and white

  • its venus its no longer visable tell 12 at midnight and into morning hours venus is just rather bright as of now calm down people.

  • This is because of scintillation ("Twinkling") as the light passes through the atmosphere of the Earth. As the air moves in and out, the starlight is refracted, often different colors in different directions. Because of this "chromatic abberation," stars can appear to change colors when they are twinkling strongly.

  • stars are blinking, planets not. Depends where they are, how big they are, how hot they are, colors change because of gases in our atmosphere.

if i am wrong mail me and corect me.

    thanks

  • @rrrpirog i agree with you.

  • @rrrpirog your dead wrong you see any light source filtered throught the atmosphere blinks i can assure you this is venus.

  • I can see the very same thing from my balcony in Greece right now (02.13 am). It appears every night, not in the same position though. It is bloody weird, isn't it??

  • i have been watching 2 stars for days now doing the same blinking red white and blue. its crazy like you say.

  • I'm seeing one right now and I'm really curious! My moved quickly down to the left and then really slowly to the right and then slowly up to the left. It's so weird!

  • thats exactly what i saw! here in the uk, infact if you look around there are three of them in a line! going from the horison, this is some weird shit 0_0

  • I saw this exact thing as we speak. thats why i youtubed it

  • I have seen the same object in the same place in night sky. This was not a twinkle it was a definite blink / flash. I saw it in mid Janurary in 2010 just to the right of Orion. I watched it for a long time and it stayed in the same spot in the sky even as the stars slowly moved west. I figured it was a geosynchronous satellite that is spinning and the sun was reflecting off of it.

  • I have been seeing the same thing for a month... since the meteor shower on Nov. 15/16... It has been around Orions belt... Same color sequence... Im in Northwestern New Mexico where there are very few lights... Interesting...

  • Check out george green he speaks of UFO's and E.T.'s he stated that it is a large ufo....seriously....he explained that if you see a blinking red green blue yellow "star" its not a star but a spacecraft he states "Stars do not do that under any circumstances" At first I thought this guy might be a wack job but after watching his stuff on youtube and google I think he is pretty legit.

  • Have a look at "unexplainedinsky" on Youtube.

  • i have a 10inch mirror scope and that thing is very very strange! dont think its a planet or star!it has a multiple red blu blinking very very fast , ! the thing moove like the other star ,so very slowly!

  • I just seen it tonight for the first time. I live just south of chicago. I just e-mailed an astronomer wtf it is. So hopefully i'll get a response soon.

  • i found about 6 of them so far ,whats weird is their surrounding us.look carefully around you .you will see them

  • i saw that last night! it looked like a plane from a very very far distance but it was a star.

    i live in los angeles.

  • Some would say its atmospheric disturbance however when it blinks red, green and blue it really makes you think. Check out worldwide telescope it a free program you can put on your computer. I'm going to download it then look in the location your mom was speaking of being around orion.

  • I dont have that great of a camera. We looked at it through a telescope and you can see all the colors at once. It looks like the lights on top of a cop car.

  • I see this in Boston on every clear night.

    WTF is it?

I have been trying to figure it out.

    Sirius A maybe?

  • So I looked a bit and I dont think it is Sirius. I will look for it again tonight and try to put it on a star map...

  • @dunskie Yes on youtube under "The Star Sign" it give's an explanation of this UFO. Antonio

  • hey im burgerthief friend the one he was talking about we saw this too and can u email when u get info plezz

  • If I ever find out anything I will let you know... But no luck as of late...

  • Your not crazy :) I see the same thing in the texas skies. Don't think its venus as i have never seen venus do that before. I am thinking it might be niburu/planet x coming back into our solar system. Look into that? Thanks for the video!

  • I still see it so I dont think it is two star/planets together. Unless they always travel together, but I dont think that happens...

  • @ontime34 won't be nibiru, since after 2 years, it's still the same blinking light, didn't get any bigger! I think it's a pretty star constellation!
