Hi i hope its ok for me to ask you this question, umm, when you're moisturizing your hair in this video do you do this method throughout the whole year or just in the winter? and also how do you moisturize your hair daily in winter time and summer. i have been having trouble with dryness since i bc'ed a month ago. And i always put in a leave in conditioner and seal it with an oil but it seems that's not working cuz after a few hrs my hair becomes dry again. Please help, thks:)

@anafi90 Hey Chick, i dont really change me regimen between summer and winter because i dont have a problem with extreme dryness. Usually when my hair is dry, simple wetting it does the job. I believe your problem is with your products and not your method. You may have to try a few leave-in's to find one that truly works for your hair. Have you tried the kimmaytube leave-in mix? I haven't tried it myself but i've heard good things about it.

Okay, so... After watching your other wash vid, I decided to try conditioning before shampooing and... I LIKE IT! I really don't see a difference in terms of moisture (or the lack there of) and it's just plain easier. I'll try conditioning after for a bit to truly give it a test run.

....oh & btw i never would have thought to use Herbal Essences products on our hair type. Call me silly but its clearly down to the mindset that my mum has planted in me about hair products strictly for white people's hair that wont work for afro hair. It never occurred to me to even try much bedsides Motions, ORS or Dark& Lovely til now. Please can you recommend any H.E product in particular that has noticeable softening qualities, hopefully i can get more from the poundshop lol. Thank u xx

Hey Laila. I've secreted watched ur vids for a while now, ur soo cute & such a natural hair inspiration! I recently purchased that coconut & yoghurt shampoo from the pound shop-it smells great! I was so pleased with that find! Anyway I got the Schwarzkopf supersoft straight& glossy condition instead of matching yoghurt cond.cos it said for 'dry,frizzy unmanageable hair' which is me. Do u think its ok to stray from the whole set & use a diff conditioner from the same brand?

I have the same issues! My sides are tighter but easier to detangle. My top and the middle of the back are looser and the hardest to detangle... weird!

Also do you always mix your deep conditioner with coconut milk? Could you please tell me wat the Yeo Valley Organic Natural is?i i can't really see what it says beneath the word natural on the label, am a little curious :)

1) i deep condition with every wash, i feel like it helps me retain moisture through out the week better.

2) 9 out of 10 times i add coconut milk to my deep conditioners and the yeo valley is natural yogurt. 7 out of 10 times i use natural yogurt. they both have great properties for hair and if you watch my hair smoothie video i go through them. hope this helps :)
