LiPo's and cars don't work. One hard landing and/or crash and that battery could be hosed and dangerous. It's just a bad mix of technology.

its a great idea just to let it burn than trying to rip out the battery really fast like i have done same thing happened to my slash i just ripped out the battery put a new one in and no problems

Ich mache ja normal nichts runter aber was LRP in Sachen Akkus gleich welcher Art auf den Markt bringt ist einfach nur Dreck. Auch hier sind vermtl. 240,- Antriebsmittel im Wert von 100,- abgeraucht. Ich habe bislang wirklich nur LRP LiPos qualmen sehen ... und massig LRP 1:8 BL Motoren. Etwas Qualitätsmanagement bitte und nicht in der letzten Hütte der Welt produzieren lassen!

Wobei die Aktion in diesem Video natürlich keinem System gut tun würde ...

@dizzyinzo ...if a lipo goes like that.. get the heck away from it, and let it go and huck move the car/batery to a open area away from everything.. ..their soooo un predictable, and its easier to replace a 450$ buggy than ur hands..

ive had a few nimh batteries start to vent badly,. 1 i grabed by the plug, and hucked it out side onto the street... and ive also seen nimh battery cells go off like a bomb..the only trace of the battery left was a black mark on the table..

@dizzyinzo I'm shocked to see they actually picked up the car when it was smoking like that.. Looking at most of these videos, the lipo's usually burst into flames after smoking for a bit.. I'd be leaving that shit alone for a while.

lrp lipo cases r crap they crack really easy ive got the 5900 50c and they case is crap every time i land i jump its almost certain that the case has one more crack than before
