  • I've never watched TCC but I remember the Spice Girls Walkers Crisps advert from back in the day. Good times...

  • ahh TCC, one of the 'flagship' channels of the original SKY television, then because there was also Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Fox Kids, Trouble and Disney Channel, it was the only British-based equivalent to CITV or CBBC. As a teenager, I kinda missed it after it was gone, only Nickelodeon came close to it's feel of fast-flowing, modern cartoons.

  • @wayzotoichi

Yeah. In the early 90s before Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and The Disney Channel existed, Options for kids TV were extremely limited. You either soldiered along with Children's ITV or Children's BBC or watched TCC or the DJ Kat Show on Sky one. That all changed by the middle of the decade!

But then everything finished by about 5-5:30. No 24hrs or timeshifting.

  • dat was the day i was born :D

  • Who did TCC timeshare with....was it Bravo or Lifestyle? I can't remember now.

  • @spankysmagicpiano Can't say for the 1980's, but from 1993 onwards it The Family Channel then Challenge TV.

  • @steviegTVreturns I second that, after TCC it was definitely Challenge TV during the period after 1997, when I first watched satellite.

  • or i remember watching art attack

  • Super clip of TCC Continuity and Adverts featuring the end of Art Attack from 1992 steviegTVreturns.

Nice of you to rekindle those happy memories.

  • Great to see the end of Art Attack. Sadly i don't recall TCC as i got cable in around late 98, early 99.
