  • this was probably my first game on my pc in 1996....loved it. is it still possible to download it somewhere? is it working with Vista??

  • dang, nobody could even scratch you!

  • i like it's music best.

  • Just wait til RF Guerilla comes out :D

  • Telefrag FAIL

  • There's something off about the way the red guy walks (when he's not running).. like it's not a the way someone would walk when they're in a combat situation.

  • @emulator900: Dont know what you mean, how is he supposed to walk otherwise? :D

  • I dunno, more creeping like or something. Or with his gun drawn.

  • Well he is a trained merciless killer, I dont think he needs too go stealth :D

Also it is comparable with the game splinter cell, because there you also walk around with your weapon in the holster until you have to fight ;)

  • and also you guys are talking about a game that was released 15 years ago, making this great game using 2D models and doing it for DOS was great, also the great animations for those years, its like we compare MLB The Show with Hardball

  • @emulator900 Well the game has recently been added to Good old games and can be bought again.

As for the Windows issue, it wouldn't work on any windows anyway as it was made for Dos.

But with an emulator called Dosbox it can be played again but it needs a little know how. The Good old Games version is basically a version of the game that comes with a fully set up Dosbox executable so you don't have to do much more than install and play, atleast that's what I heard ;)

  • @emulator900 He's just walking like a boss. Keeping his cool.

  • This is the level that sticks in my mind, and whenever I've thought about Crusader over the years, I return to that memory of shattering the glass walls with glee.

  • What a game. So many fond memories :)

  • I WANT THE FMV'S! I miss the horrible acting :[

  • I would have recorded the FMV's but they are in german so 85% of the youtube users wouldn't understand a word ;)

  • My favorite level of my favorite game of all time. I used to play this level over and over and over...

  • Das schaffen sie nie!

  • ROFL at 4:39 with the spider bomb. Man this is one of the first PC games I played on Pentium I and I loved it so much. Thanks for posting this!

  • LOL, the pot breaking sound did it for me.

I've never even played this game, but I want to play it a lot. I feel like this shoulda' been a part of my childhood...

  • @BloisFulcher:

If it would have been part of your childhood, then you probably would have always remembered it because it was so damn good :)

  • Great great game one of my favorites, this is one of those game that youll never forget, like redneck rampage, duke nukem, time commando, hardball...... you get the picture.

  • I can;t run this on my computer for the life of me, even with DOSBox!

  • The technology will not allow it to run without the disk and/"or" an original dos computer unless you are at present being a skillful coder.

  • It works fine with DOSBox, just mount the iso in a virtual drive - I was playing it yesterday :-)

  • Not always for me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not and it does not matter what computer I use it on.

  • One of the best missions in the game. This one absolutely rocks.

This game is my all time favourite game.

  • anyone remember the "Thermal Coupler"?

  • You're a badass.

  • 'dar ist er' ROFL

I couldn't possible play any german game because I couldn't stop laughing...

  • I dont know how the german language sounds funny ^^

Funny would be if I played the chinese version :D

  • It's probably just me, but it really cracks me up every time...

(like the "Commando's" game... "alarm, alarm, ein verletzte")

It's not that it's in contempt or anything. rather the opposite. It's just funny hearing :)

  • this game was the shit back in the day

  • The Change in the config file was in regret. I remember laughing my ass of when i found the entry violence="false" in remorse you had to edit the .exe file itself. I suppose the bloodpatch does the same

  • it looks like you (and sounds) like you are playing the german version. Have you thought about unlocking the violence? it's rather simple, you just need a hex editor and to know wich bytes to change

  • Well I know how to unlock gore in No Regret because there its just a change in in a cfg file, but that doesnt work in No Remorse.

But nevermind I downloaded a blood patch somewhere and now gore is activated ;)

  • classic. thanks man

  • The music in this game is the best i've ever heard from any game

  • If you like the music, join Echo Sector, make a profile and you can download it for free.

  • its ok, I already found two downloadable zip files that contain all the music in MP3 format - but thanks for the help anyways!

  • Man the movement looks really choppy. I bet it's a bitch to navigate and aim.

  • Well you only can move forwards and turn left or right. Otherwise you have to roll sidewards or sidestep but thats too slow.

But with a bit practice you get used to it.I mean I like it how it is because how shall they do it otherwise?

  • I was mostly referring how the movement is tile-based rather than pixel-based.

  • Can someone post some footage of the UV9 rifle?

    It's the greatest thing ever.

  • Best Game Ever. No Remorse & No Regret.

    Sequel please =/

  • Oh i loved this game so much!

  • Nice ! should have used the rocket launcher so we could we could hear the scream... :) love that !
