Finally, the sun chariot would not be pulled so fast. Apollo drives the chariot slowly across the whole of the sky, not just over one city-state, and at that elevation, the world would have been horribly horribly scorched. This show is full of errors and mistruths... I'm very disapointed...

He can't give them heaven, the Greeks didn't technically have a heaven. Olympus was the place of the Gods, but the good souls did not go to Olympus. Good souls went to Elysium. The proper term would be "Give them Tartarus", the Greek form of Hell.

Cassandra was a lover of Apollo. He entrusted the Raven to watch over his love. At the time, the Raven was white. Well, the Raven caught Cassandra cheating on him and it went to Apollo's temple to inform him. When the fiery sun god heard the news, he was so infuriated that he took his anger out on the Raven, scorching it's feathers black. From then on the Raven was seen as a messanger of ill fate and bad omens. It's from this myth we get the phrase 'don't shoot the messanger'.

Actually, Hades is the eldest brother, and the Agora was just a cluster of merchants, not a mall. Hades couldn't just poof into Olympus, he can only go on the winter solstice, and Herakles (Hercules' GREEK name, which means son of Hera, even though he is NOT Hera's son) was a hero. Besides, The last person Apollo allowed to drive the chariot burned the planted when he crashed and died. Icarus isn't even a demigod, and furthermore, Aurora was the ROMAN name of Eos, the goddess of dawn.

Idk where someone even got the idea to make this into a kids TV show. Heracles (correct Greek spelling) was actually an asshole, Zeus had WAY more children than Heracles, and I don't know anything about Adonis, but they really depict him as an asshole.

but some stories made Helios and Apollo one in the same, since Apollo also was god of sunlight, in some stories. But I still prefer them to be different, since Helios was a Titan (a good one, or he didn't fight the Olympians).

But this IS a kids show, one I loved! So accuracy to the original myths doesn't REALLY matter. But props for knowing your stuff! :D

@mogckdanp Although I agree with you on most parts, I have to disagree on some partially. Yes, Helios was the Greek god of the sun. However, in the Golden Age of Greece, they gave the "god of the sun" attribute to Apollo, probably to make his deity more worshipped because Helios was most likely not getting enough attention. Same with Selene. Her "goddess of the moon" title was given to Artemis, the twin sister of Apollo.

She and Hercules meet, they become good acquaintances, but at the end some sort of magical artifact is used where everyone forgets that Meg ever showed up to where Hercules goes to school, even Meg herself. They don't ever meet again until the moment in the movie when Herc saves her.

@WaxedLegs You are correct. But also wrong. Helios was the God of the Sun. And Apollo was known strictly as the god of Music. But as time passed Helios, being an Elder God, was getting mixed up with Apollo, an Olympian. Now in this series of Disney Hercules tvshows, and the movie, a lot of things are correct. Apollo is the god of the Sun, or the Day, now, and his twin sister, Artemis is the Goddess of the Moon, or the Night. A lot of things in the Disney series.... Maybe you need to read more?
