Acctually he got Vista and XP mixed up. The only better thing about Vista was that it looked better, but it was acctually the slowest, and XP was the greatest, but now we have Windows 7 :)

Then, starting with XP the user was allowed to do less and less on his own, to change, modify. Icons appeared. In Ms Vista Office, after taking away the command line, it was hard to do understand where all the functions are hidden. To type a command becomes
harder, windows offers many options, bubbles (which distract attention), unnecessary configuration and in the same time decides that the user doesn't need functions which he has used to. For instance file extensions. By default they are not available.

If you think about it, xp would seem slow because when it first came out because computers were marginally more expensive then , so people didn't really go all out. Vista seems faster because computers are so much cheaper now, so people can afford to go a bit overkill with their systems. The people who complain about the speed of vista probably went with minimum or near minimum requirements.

I mean if i need to do something new. There is a huge chance that there is no replacement that works on the Mac. Sure parrales. But thats the shittiest software ever. I just use Boot Camp. Also, i hate that i cant really upgrade my computer (luckly i dont have to yet. I got it for 5.5k with all the nice upgrades 2 months ago) I believe there is a lack of options. And, also vista might be a copy of Mac OS X.
