  • i would walk up to that gaint bud and lick me some gaint crystal

  • ooh and cocoponics outperforms hydro as the coco coir is far superior as the roots can develop more fine root hairs (WHICH ARE THE ROOTS YOU WANT), go do horticulture you fucking amateurs.

  • it's all about that voodoo juice, who do you voodoo bitch! :D

  • that bud is fkn humungo...whoa duse tripindicular...

  • The product speaks for itself if you havent tried it.... Shut the fuck up!

  • yeah but that stuff (G.H. ECT...)is for production mostly not quality, your smoke is way better with advanced & yeild is just as good

  • @tokerJ exactly. Though I see better yields with AN too.

  • This has got to be one of the stupidest arguments I've seen. "I know someone who's been doing it for 20 years so it must be the right way to do it"? Seriously?

How many thousands of years did primitive people smear mud on their face to give themselves supernatural powers in battle? It's a logical fallacy called "appeal to tradition".

Advanced Nutrients beats anything, hands down. Believing that isn't true is like believing the world is flat. It doesn't change the facts.

  • I laugh at these advanced videos and the groupie followers!! Its very common knowledge up here in B.C. that general hydro is the all around best with average 30% more yeild with denser nugs!Just trying to give my smikin brothers some freindly advice. Please see for yourself guys,do a simple side by side comparison yourselves and the truth shall set you free!!I know guys growin in B.C. for over 20 yrs and all they use is the general!!

  • Any nutrient is going to be harsh if it isn't properly flushed.

  • lol @ the massive nugg ..... one question please reply to me .... FOXFARM OR advanced nutes?

  • @blazeveryday6996 Advanced Nutrients all the way.

    No question.

  • dont even talk to me untill youve won a cannibus cup!! if you people want good info talk to "Apothecary".

  • i use general hydro flora nova.. its a 1 part bloom nute for 20 bucks. what u guys think about that? i am imagining advanced nutes works a little better but how much better for the huge price tag is the question of these things

  • @partyongarth420 I work for a place that uses Flora line and I agree with you to a point but the personal meds they use Advanced. I have seen awesome results from the Flora line don't get me wrong, and they are simple to use. Environment is EVERYTHING, your nutrients aren't shit if they don't make it up the stem, but good organic can't be beat.

  • @Phunkedub Iguana juice is advanced and is completely organicsalong with there other prganic additives >_>

  • @TheFirstLiquidVideos I don't think Iguana Juice is OMRI certified. I was having this discussion with the owner of the place I help trim for and he thinks the same thing. Anyone can throw the word organic on their product but to actually have it certified organic is a whole new ballpark.

  • @Phunkedub An OMRI certification doesn't make something organic, it just makes something "certified" as organic. And more expensive because it costs a bundle to get the OMRI to certify anything.

Unless I'm mistaken it's impossible to get certain things certified as organic at all, like Humic acid. So anything that has humic in it can't get an OMRI certification. (I could be wrong about humic, but I do know there are organics that OMRI won't certify because of their rules.)

  • @partyongarth420 i use the good old cow shit...good stuff.....my plants grown in large plastic garbage bins now 3.5 meters high.....buds the size of mu thighs......eat ur heart out mate...bye bye

  • @afaf233 That's fine for people who can grow outdoors. People indoors using hydroponics obviously can't use manure.

And for that matter I'd put a properly-run hydroponic system up against yours any day of the week. Same conditions (outdoors etc) the hydro will win every single time. It's just science.

  • @basementjungle ur silly small time science bs is no match for saudi arabian sunshine.....so there....shut ur mouth

  • @afaf233 That's a rather impressive amount of ignorance.

The sun - in any given location - is not one of the variables involved. You grow however you like, but if someone grew right next to where you were growing, and they were using hydroponics their plants would grow faster, bigger, and better.

The "silly small time science bs" doesn't require your belief to work.

  • @basementjungle sorry dude but indoor lights and hydroponics that u r so fond of will never beat mother nature.... i am willing to enter a bud contest with u any day,,,i grow in the saudi desert in large garbage bin size pots....plants after clipping had over 280 large colas and 3.5 meters high....1 plant produced 2.8 kilograms....super silver haze....buds so potent had novice friends freak out from the high.....eat ur heart out hydro man...bye bye

  • @afaf233 LOL, you're retarded.

He's saying that if two people grow side-by-side in the same conditions hydroponics will beat soil. That means the SAME LIGHT. There's no soil in the world that can outgrow hydroponics.

You do realize lots of people use hydroponics outdoors, right?

  • @afaf233 We all don't have the advantage of living in the saudi desert. Some of us live in urban areas like San Francisco and have no choice but to grow hydro. It's like when RC guys argue over Nitro or Electric they will never agree.

  • @partyongarth420 Go try it and prepare to have DONKEY DICK COLAS..... You flora nova fan boy.....flora sucks!

  • Sounds like your co-op doesn't flush properly because it shouldn't be that pronounced, at least not if they're using Bud Candy.

Outdoor grown is hard to beat in many ways, but until all the negative stigma around cannabis is eliminated most of us are going to have to continue growing indoors.

  • well thats all fine and dandy, but i still prefer organic outdoor buds indoor pot is like having meat from an animal treated with hormones...its better than nothing i guess and they look better..but i have a theory that advanced nutes give weed a perfumy smell and taste when not flushed thuroughly...ive never tried it but my co-op does and sometimes i get perfumy weed and it tastes weird and gives a wierd stone

  • watch out for the guys slamming Advanced Nutes - I don't think they're all impartial.

At least some of them seem to have an axe to grind and are doing it by trash talking on a lot of these videos.

  • anyone know whats in this stuff

  • These guys are nothing but "blow hards".What was weight per square foot? The cost of nutes per gram? What is per "light"? What is their cost per pound of trimmed bud? How about the others costs per pound? They just hype their expensive products, which a big part of the cost is just "hot air", advertising.

Here is a challenge I would like to have them meet... Grow at least a 2 pound plant on a 10 gallon pot, on a space not bigger than 6'x6'x8' and the cost of nutes not to exceed $20/lb.

  • @dimeagram wow thats really dumb man.. Even with basic nutes I paid more than 40 dollars for them. If you bash Advanced Nutrients then you are just plain blind, dumb or uninformed about them because I have seen the biggest yeilds and quality you will ever see come from Advanced Nutrients.. im talkin main colas so big you could use them as a bat to hit a robber with. also weight per square foot depends on strain as well as light and nute.. so u make no sense

  • Don't buy this shit! Just use molasses for nutrients! Read up on it!

  • molasses is for giving the plants carbs and to swell the buds....its not a nutrient dumbass

  • @fitzyboy19792008 That is true, complex carbs & b-vitamins also vital sugars, all help to maximize your bu8d-mass. but be careful or the molasses may ferment if left in too long by inattentive growers. keep monitoring your reservoir or grow-medium & give your plants fresh molasses with each Resi-change or soil-flush

    . best of luck

  • @fitzyboy19792008 LMAO you have to be super retarded man.. how do you think the molasses does its thing if its not supplying the plant with nutrients? you think the plant just grows better for no reason? the plant needs to take the nutrients from the mo fuckin molasses to do anything with it.. other wise growers wouldnt use molasses.. obviously molasses isnt a main nutrient by any means but its still a nutrient source

  • @Robmar420 plant produces sugars during flower- if you provide these sugars the plant will focus on budding rather than producin sugars. there's alittle nutrient value to molasses but the main reason is what i stated above.

  • @tadmad2020 Also does a lot for the soil life! Can lower your PH as well

  • A qp from 400 watts is not that good mate, you should be looking at 1lb per 1000watt, you do the math,And GH is for noobs

  • 1 lbs per 1000 watt light is pretty weak too...u should get at least 1.5 to 2 lbs per 1000 light, pending on strain and grow technique ( s.o.g, s.c.o.g etc...) And those numbers are pulled off without CO2, go blow your horn elsewhere dip shit

  • @jbo2dajigalo all depends on the variety, i usually get 2 per light with advanced

  • @jbo2dajigalo GH is great, who are you to say it's for noobs?

  • @bringthebawls he's right, GH is for noobs.

i used it when i was a noob

then i learned better and switched to advanced nutes

so much better its not even funny

  • GH is the way to go im geting a QP from 1 400 hps lamp

  • AN may make a decent product, but slandering other nute companies is no way to get the customer's respect.

  • Interesting.

It seems strangely important to Rick to convince everyone that Botanicare is better. I wonder why that might be...

Stronger, cheaper, and organic? Sorry bud, no one's buying that. Everyone knows that organics just can't be made as concentrated. That's one of the main pro/cons of chem ferts - they're more concentrated but you can burn your plants if you're not careful.

Besides, strength isn't everything. Quality is.

  • hesi nutrients are the shit!!!

  • If you put down Advanced you are a fool it's made to grow pot point blank if you dont use it you are stupid very fuking stupid 2 plus pounds per light

  • That's the truth, nothing beats Advanced Nutrients.

  • your a retard... you obviously dont grow because you obviously dont know any OTHER products that are BETTER... stop listening to internet videos and try shit for yourself instead of running your trap

  • No Rick I`m not a tard. Been growing for 20 plus years tryed them all ADVANCED IS THE BEST HANDS DOWN. AND I WILL RUN MY TRAP SO SHUT UP BEFORE YOU BECOME PLANT FOOD YOURSELF

  • Everybody likes differnt stuff I like advanced it`s the best in my eye`s you just dont know how to use it

  • I love GH i have grown with nothing better

  • GH is all chemically derived minerals. shynteitc shit

  • decriminalize!!!!!

  • sterilized mushroom compost has everything in it advanced sells....oh yeah and its .01% the price

    botany.

he said plants in "soil", if you using soil and AN your throwing money down the drain.

  • Comment removed

  • very true, but when it comes to systems like aeroponics Advanced is the shit!!! liquid organics that dont plug up sprinklers is just awesome.

but if your a soil grower....thats just silly

  • First I've heard of this.. what's exactly in AN that's so cheap? I don't use AN by the way, I use General Hydroponics, I'm just curious.

  • Botanicare!

    in soil

    works bitchin

  • I've noticed you spend a lot of time naysaying AN.

Botanicare isn't bad, but lots of things work in soil. The harder task is to make things that work in hydroponics. Since Botanicare is a hydroponic nutrient maker I find it especially telling that you'd say it works best in soil...

  • they do have a soil line the N.P.K. are dif.

i have never tried advanced nutes.

I tend to be negative toward the AN line because the same ingredients can be found at a less expensive price in alot of other nutes.

if you understand plant health, why do you need to pay that much for a name.

  • That's ridiculous. You've never even tried it but you're sure other stuff is just as good?

Unbelievable. A Porsche and a Pinto are made of mostly the same "ingredients" but you'd have to admit there's a significant difference in the assembled product.

I doubt you'd be so quick to be critical if you'd ever actually used Advanced Nutrients.

  • ive used advanced nutrients for years ..i switched to BOTANICARE its all around better... stronger nutes that are organic and cheaper... advanced nutrients is like the corvette that gets smoked by the twin turbo honda civic lol didnt see it coming!!

  • @hugetom80s Actually I don't think that car analogy is a very good one. Pintos and porsches don't really share the same parts at all. They have wildly different motor designs and even the materials that comprise the cars are different.

  • @uglybunny In the ways that matter to the analogy they are made of the same basic ingredients: steel, aluminum, plastic, rubber, etc.

The design differences you speak of are exactly what make the analogy appropriate: the way in which those base materials are put together make all the difference in the world, whether you're talking about cars or nutrients.

  • @hugetom80s I use their Heavy Harvest system and I will never use anything but the HH stuff.

  • @mikeyaaa indoor? i'm usin heavy harvest outside for the 1st time. can i mix it with water? or should it be used as a top dress as recommended?

  • @hugetom80s well I think AN can be a little harsher of a smoke compared to most organic nutes or organic soil mixes. a general problem with sythetics sometimes but I thought bud candy and a good week flush would be enough.

  • @hugetom80s ya the pinto rocks and the porsche is a over priced piece of shit.

  • @TheBigsteve2010 That's what Pinto owners tell themselves to make themselves feel better about not being able to afford a Porsche.

  • thats because its amazing in soil the hydro formula is better than the soil formula... i switched from AN to Botanicare... stronger nutrients and organic as well

  • thats what i use ... peat based mix with HYDROPONIC formula Botanicare ...BLOWS A WAY ROOTS and you definately get more for your money as opposed to buying advanced nutrients advanced nutrients is a ripoff i buy BOTANICARE for 15$ a bottle and Advanced Nutrients is like 25$ and I think the Botanicare works better personally

  • I hear the THC Expo was awesome! Judging from this video, Advanced Nutrients received a lot of admiration from their very knowledgeable customers. No wonder--if you want Bigger Yields, you better feed your plants Advanced Nutrients!

  • Definitely, it was absolutely amazing.

Advanced definitely had the best booth there any way you measured it. I could've spent the whole Expo there.

    In fact, I almost did.
