Man, I love the device of the servants coming up through the stage. It's used well the whole show, but getting those instruments in the ladies' hands halfway through a 5tet is always such a pain! Also, I gotta say, this girls do that otherworldly 3 knabchen music justice! What spin and diction and tuned vowels!

The sound balance between Tamino and Papageno is very good because there's a lighter sound on Papageno. And those ladies are wonderful but pretty scary. Great video!! ^^

I really like this version of the song.

The balance of the sound level between papageno and Taminois perfect.

Other versions usually have low sound on papageno.

It's true that if we think of it back then in Mozart's time the papageno's voice will surely lower. However, I'm sure that if the technology was permitted Mozart would like to have it like this version. The first 45 seconds is truly breathtaking!!

Well, best option is to buy the DVD, of course. There is a version in blue-ray, if you were interested.

You can't really find it online easily, but I guess you can get it throught a few download programs :)

I like very much this papageno.... In my opinion this is one of the best production of die Zauberflote! In particular the queen of the night is so great... I don't know if you have ever listen to her ;))))
