hey i have a question i have a 8hp briggs and when the choke is on it idles really hi but then when i take it off choke it stops like it idels to low and starts shaking becuase of the low epms but how im i gonna run it when it only runs on choke
Ok, why it needs the choke on is because the engine isnt getting enought gas when idling. So put up the idle a little bit. If you dont know how Just search "how to increase my idle on my (your engine here)" I use google but yea.

Push the switch '1' in, that's start. Pressing the '0' is off.

i have the same engine on wood, and i can't figure out how the on/off switch works, so i can't even get spark.
