What's funny is that I'd probably have more fun playing Chrono Trigger over again than play FFXIII-2. Sure, they fixed a few things, but it's battle system is still based heavily on looking at the enemy's weaknesses before pressing autoattack over and over. I "may" get it because I heard it doesn't have a 30 hour prologue before they set you loose, but that won't be until the game drops so low that I buy it on a whim of boredom.

When FF13 was first announced Lightning was to be the only character and the battle system looked very interesting and was far more tactical. I always wondered why they scrapped that. It would've been a much better game. Look up the original trailers if you don't remember it.

So... wait.. How is the battle system of FF now? My biggest qualms with the series was the turn-based fighting... I like being able to have my character run around and duck and dodge... Not just stand there waiting for his turn/move to come.

@kurayami893 nope, apparently you can choose to visit an area at anytime and change some events that happened before by revisiting an area later. And there's also multiple endings which some say that in one, everybody dies (rumor)
