  • This may be the most powerful lecture I've ever seen.

    Shalom!

  • Amazing video. Great brain food too. A lot of things I hadn't really thought about before. I spend so much time reading Torah and studying talmud I never really thought about the Hebrew aleph-beit itself. Great lesson.

  • I am a Christian and this helped me a lot. As a preacher there are things that God laid in my heart. I've taught and wrote about them, but many found then untenable. I just got confirmation based on the Hebrew analysis of the meaning of words, especially, love, giving and marriage.

For the first time, I got a real desire to learn Hebrew. Interesting stuff.

  • @ogwemigo Isn't wonderful to finally have a real definition for Love and marriage?!

So pleased that you found this to be inspiring...

  • Really EXCELLENT lecture ! Where was it? What school, Yeshiva or university was this?

  • bayth means house in hebrew-so is we calll in arabic house of prohet muhammed-ahlulbayth-

    nice class

    thanks

  • This is the best lesson I have had in my whole life. Thanks be to God for you! I am a Christian fighting against odds to learn Hebrew :) and you have helped me a lot! Btw, when one looks at the dalet-vav-zayin mentioned in the context of marriage, written in the cursive script (handwritten), one can see that the vav is like a mirror and G\Z are reflecting one upon the other. This makes me think that one man shapes another and that we see ourselves in\through others. :) Toda raba!

  • @chaveraoh What an excellent comment and observation about reflection between relationships! I couldn't agree more! And look, no arguing over words, because they define themselves!

I'm very pleased that this talk helps make learning Hebrew interesting and fun for you! So you must thank Rabbi Kraft for this lecture, I just posted it here on the tube... (But you're most welcome.)

  • Animals also have the spark of the Divine in them and share the same DNA. Never underestimate the holy beings who walk , fly, swim the earth. Doing this has cost humankind our higher selves. We ARE connected to all of nature, not meant to dominate, but protect. We are all Fathers and Mothers...

Animals suffer, love, mourn, learn, and are caught in the earthly transgressions that allow us to treat them horribly.

  • Thanks for responding.Do you have more videos on hebrew letters? would love to learn along!!

  • @rpommels You're welcome!

I wish I did have more. However on the TorahAnytime webpage, if you look through Rabbi Kraft's lectures, there are several there that have to do with this particular type of study. (Some titles are more indicative than others.) Also, if you check out Stan Tenen, and some earlier Dan Winter lectures, you'll get some interesting stuff from a different perspective. Otherwise, I don't think youtube is really the place. It's probably best to talk to a more learned person.

  • @moremoreenough So pleased that you've enjoyed and learned from the lecture!

And I agree about the marker board, I think a larger one would help a lot in this case... Luckily the camera was set up well enough to read everything...

  • Beautiful!!! love your gift of explaining the hebrew language!!!

  • @rpommels That's Rabbi Kraft for ya! Glad you enjoyed, and hope you learned something. (I should watch this again as it's so jam packed...)

  • Yes everything came out from his word, who is the Word? Jesus Christ! Yes! Everything was created by God's Word! By Jesus Christ!

  • @12345soccerguy Amen, brother. That is the kind of video I was searching for when I found this video using the terms "fractal" and "person". I'd like to add such a thing to a playlist I'm to have on my channel. But I am interested in watching all of this one when I have more time because it looks worth watching anyway.

  • I was interested to learn that there appears to be a correspondence between the tarot and the Torah in the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet and the 22 major arcana. Check out The Alchemical Keys To Masonic Ritual By Timothy Hogan Part 8 on my channel or better still all the double yews psyche dot com.

  • This is very interesting thanks for posting!
