Yeah my brother went the same way after his partner 'accidentally' got pregnant. He never wanted to be a father and actually having a child didn't change that. Now he has had a vasectomy. This doesn't make things any easier for his daughter, but at least the number of kids' lives he will scar is limited to one.

Yeah my brother went the same way after his partner 'accidentally' got pregnant. He never wanted to be a father and actually having a child didn't change that. Now he has had a vasectomy. This doesn't make things any easier for his daughter, but at least the number of kids' lives he will scar is limited to one.

Of course nature will renew itself through those things and many people will die but it won't wipe out mankind. I'm looking forward to it, I think it will be a test to those who are better prepared for such things and I would like a hault on all the new technologies. Maybe a large bite into humanity and put us back a ways will be nice and a reminder of who we really are.

Now how do you KNOW this? It won't wipe out humanity. Again, the hetero mind amazes me. You simply make things up then say they're true. Yes, many will die from war, famine and poverty. Many ARE dying. Most of the world lives in abject poverty.
What you're really saying is that it will be them, not you, and that's ok.

Of course the planet isn't overpopulated but there are certain countries and cities that are. Well, my fiance and I are hoping on having at least 2 kids but more could happen. Dun, dun, dun. It's not that too many people are born, it's that people are dying too late. People weren't meant to live as long as they do now.

Other than stupid people having too many weapons the planet isn't too bad. Global warming is a normal thing, it's happened before and it will happen again. We are due for another ice age and another major volcanic eruption. That is nature cleansing itself so it can renew things. Also, I can't help that you're prejudice and have a narrow-minded view of heterosexual or perhaps bi-sexuals. If you aren't trying to "speak" in such a way then it sounds like you are.

Wait until nature cleans out mankind. (or humankind, sorry to not be PC... :rolleyes: ) That's why some philanthropy is not very wise. In countries where breeding is as frequent as breathing, higher rates of disease and disfigurement is going to happen. We can't even feed our own now so why allow the world's population to increase?

The most populated countries need birth control education, but they are not the biggest problem. It is the developed countries who are wasting the resources. The Earth could sustain its population if resources were used more wisely. We don't need to stop people having children; we need to simplify our lives.
Anyway, the underlying premise of this video is flawed anyway. Plenty of homosexuals breed.

Who died and made you a god that you can speak with authority regarding the processes by which nature cleanses and renews itself?? Name one person who was actually around in the last Ice Age and has eyewitness proof of the purpose of it. You talk of nature as if you think it has a single mind. Even if you're only talking metaphorically, you might as well be a pantheist at the rate you're going.

Dear, the Little Ice Age wasn't THAT long ago. There are a good number of scientists who actually study climate who feel that the current changes are for the most part natural. As I said before, people should be more concerned with deforestation without replanting which is NOT natural.

I would question whether or not someone who refers to those in power with "too many weapons" as "stupid" and then says "global warming is a normal thing", a view promoted almost solely by so-called scientists who are rarely actual environmentalists, should be having any children. It just seems a little dangerous to society.
