You said the F-22 came out in 05. This is wrong. It's first production model flew in 1999. They finally released the fighter to service in 2005, almost 6 years after it first flew. Granted the electronics and avionics equiptment has been updated, but the stealth materials have not changed. and it is a simple matter of configuring ECMs to detect the anomolies left by the F-22.
Second of all, The thrust vectoring of the Su-47 is far superior to the F-22. Eurofighter was the first to develop thrust vectoring. Lockheed is behind Eurofighter in many ways. The Su-47 is designed with the most advanced inertial dampeners that the world has to offer. It's superior thrust vectoring. allows the 47 to maneuver must more dramatically and at higher speeds than the F-22. The F-22 was designed for stealth. The Su-47 was designed to duke it out. Xwing design is nothing new its been used before, but that is not what is significant here its the fact that this thing is probably capable of Mach 3 and unlike the Mig 31 the US's nightmare(which it wasnt) this thing cannot only fly it will outmanuever everything except maybe the Eurofighter which is todays current #1 fighter.
Junkers built a jet bomber prototype with forward swept wings which was taken by the Soviets in '45. There was also the HFB Hansa Jet executive transport which had forward sweep. This Sukhoi has more than just forward sweep going on. It's computer systems must be pretty sophisticated too.

Add to that that a forward swept wing is utterly shit and you can see why no-one bothers with the design, the writing was on the wall from day one that this jet would be a complete failure (which is was) due to its forward swept wing, A terrific way to waste half a decade and millions in cost though.
Another interesting fact is that most planes built by the so called american engineers are in fact russian, german and australian. Don't tell me that no body told the poor american population that there planes aren't even their inteligents. Most of the technology even was stolen by the military to give to the forced engineer's from other countries. f-22 is terrible.
f-22 is rather unreliable in service. problems include:
bugs in software, paint losing it's radar absorbing properties, canopies warping and losing transparency, and, most worringly, cracks in titanium subframes
30 hours of maintenance are required for every flight hour.
only 55% of the fleet is available to fly at any given time.
a failure that makes f-22 unable to complete it's mission appears on average every 1.7 hours

I saw those when Indian army was showing off these new fighters, they got from Russians.
Damn fast planes, they came in slow, as if they had breaks in air, and accelerated so damn fast they were no where in seconds. Huge sound, had to plug fingers into the ears. could not really check the out as they were roaring like hell just broke out.
Damn Muslims, we will kill you all with those, and with F16, F22 etc by our side of course...
Lot faster than F22 of course!

Ok, I'm sick of hearing stupid arguments from other countries. Your planes are not as good as the raptor. The f22 has the most powerful radar of any jet fighter in the world. It will shoot down any plane before the oppositions radar would even have a chance to detect it.

Yes, it's incredibly maneuverable. It's also huge and heavy for a fighter plane. I think an F22 would eat this thing for breakfast.

The Raptor is/has:
slower then Su-47
a lower fight and flightrange then the Su-47
older rocket technologies then the Su-47
