PC's Joystick's button are numbered 1 to 8. Some PC's joystick have more button but in RE4 the button actually base on PS2 joystick button. 1=triangle , 2 = circle, 3= X, 4 =square, 5= L1, 6= R1, 7= R2, 8=L2. It's really difficult to play RE4 on PC without proper joystick but I amazed that you play it by using keyboard....

The default chance of getting an instant kill headshot is about 1 in 5, if I recall correctly. I think my cripple strategy is way better. It's safer and uses less ammo. But hey... you play your way, I'll play mine. As for 'waisting time', I'm in no particular hurry when I play video games. I just wanna have fun.

A lot of people were very annoyed from day one with Resident Evil 4. The wanted the ammo to be scarce, and they were like "WTF EVEN THE FUCKING CROWS HAVE HAND GRENADES FOR YOU WTFFFFFFF"

So the lesson here is just to ignore the haters. As a great Deus Ex trailer once said, "If you want to make enemies, try to change something."

That being said, Capcom have said Resident Evil 6 will go back to something more like the original formula. This makes me sad...

I don't think that you can use the Chicago Typewriter to take those guys out because you have to play through the game once to get Assignment Ada. After you beat that you can get the typewriter, but the guys on the hill only show up at the first playthrough of the game.

@MajorSlackVideos just to clarify the Chicago Typewriter is NOT given to you on completing the game. By completing the game on normal you unlock the option to buy the weapon for 1,000,000ptas. (it is fun walking around just spraying down the early levels with it due to is infinite ammo and high damage)

@xCCAKAxCPAKAx Flashbangs are actualy very useful in the later game as they kill all the things that explode out of the heads of the later monsters in one regardless of how many there are around you. so if you do some quick headshots to let the parisites out then throw a flashbang once they emerge you can take out whole groups for very little ammo. my personal bet is taking out 6 headgulper enemys with one flashbang

And the crow is a special kind of crow, called grenadius carrius. Special glands in the crow's body allow it to naturally produce grenades when shot.
