you are soooo right, its not just the bypass that does all the work, my aunt actually had the surgery and didnt fallow the "diet" and she only lost about 100lbs.... and then ALL weight loss stopped there for her and she had actually streched her stomach back out! So congrats on keeping with it, its not easy but is the right thing to do!

I don't think anyone should be ashamed to say they got weight loss surgery. If something helps you, then you should never be ashamed of it. Its a very helpful too. I'm so glad you said that it doesn't do everything for you. My sister and I got LapBand and it works, but if i would have put in the work right when i got it done i probably would have been a lot smaller than i am now. Everyone should do something for themselves to make their lives the best ever!!! Good job for you! Keep going!
