  • My moms really good friends with Andy's wife

  • I remember seeing them on MTV's Battle of the Bands, when they won! They came to a place here in El Paso, TX called "The Big Apple". Way cool!

  • I personally know the drummer, Kelly. Who is now my mom's boss at our local UPS. Kelly let me play is White drumset a couple of times. I don't think the white set is shown in this video.

  • Hey! He is my dad's boss at UPS too! So Crazy! I live in Baker City. Were do you live?

  • That is a little personal so I will say, I live in the area of Oregon that you speak of.

  • @roycetaft kellys my uncle man haha

  • oh shit man..basement tapes

  • Journy vocal with a steve smith and NIKCO drum and a HUGE maiden feel.

  • Think Skordy partied with these guys and took 'em sailing by the muddy banks of the Wishkah

  • Saw them live at a place called Casey's in Lewiston Idaho during this time frame.

With the drum intro of "Hello" my world was changed.

Blast from the past baby. Crazy...

  • OMG! I cant tell you happy I am to find this video... this is VERY special to me as it has significant memories of my childhood and relationship to the members of the band and how gracious the were. I sure wish they would have realized greater success, they deserved it. Watching Terry and Andy in this video truly demonstrates how nice and personable they were.

  • yes omg i fell onto this vid here,, i seen them live awsome always wonder what happend? one of the best bands of all time in my book

  • One of the best live bands I have ever seen to this day! Rick and Andy were probably the most under appreciated guitar duo of the 80s. I have seen them so many times at the Skate King shows, college shows etc. These guys were one of my inspirations for working in the music industry. In fact, their sound guy Mike Miller was one of my mentors when I first started as a sound engineer 20 years ago! You guys are all great!

  • Rail blows the foundation out of a large hall, but if you've ever seen them in a club setting, you know why they call em "Rail on the richter scale!" woohoo!

  • Rail kinda remind me of KC's Banshee very similar esp the vocals but banshee was more metal sounding...

  • I was watching Rail way back in North Idaho, and Spokane. They were THE BAND. as a drummer, Kelly was my big inspiration, and I watched him intently. Rock on Rail!!

  • Saw these guys in Spokane a couple years ago, they rock! They sound better than most headlining acts these days, and we're talkin' 20 or more years after this interview.

  • Well what do ya Know Rick said something! You are right Musclecarrenegade they are the Bomb I've known the guy's since 1981 here in Portland Or Terry's voice is Still incredible!Rock On RAIL
