  • I love exercises that involve more than the typical or specialized equipment. Nice to see you're thinking outside of the plyometric box with this bench routine. ;)

  • In short, the purpose of doing plyos is to develop power. MANY people mistakenly use plyos as a conditioning tool. This is totally illogical and defeating the purpose. That's like trying to use marathon training to develop maximum strength and power. It's like Oly Lifting - snatch, clean and jerk, pulls, etc. Crossfit people use these movements for conditioning, when these movements are designed to produce POWER. Any coach worth their salt knows that high rep Oly lifting is a big no no.
