Check the intonation on your sax from middle C to middle E, you're sharp. Also the scoops into some of the notes are nice, but don't overkill it. It kills the effect. You play on a Yamaha or a Bundy?

try going from notes like the g and just go down, or play the note in the middle of a song. that really helped me. and if u cant just hold it as long as you can and move your mouth and tongue around till it comes out and use the muscle memory

hi i play tenor as well and just recently I learnt how to play low notes..u basically just have to lower your jaw and make sure the air is strong (a lot of air) from your stomach

Yeah you have to develop your embouchure a little more. I played alto for a long time ( Strictly a Guitar player for the last 10 years though, but thinking about getting back in) and to hit those lower notes you have to lower your jaw a bit and push the air from your diaphragm a little bit more.
