The people that dislike unions are people that don't have the opportunity to belong to one or management types such as the Waltons. Four of the ten richest people in this country are named Walton. A saying in the South is "I make $5 an hour and I don't need no damn union!

Unions have provided millions of American workers with jobs with pay and benefits that are required to live "The American Dream". Now there are few unions and few jobs. Go figure?

During my father's time as a union member, these were hard working guys that didn't get anywhere near the luxury benefits that they have stolen today. When my father passed in 1985 his pension was passed to my mother, all $231 a month. For thirty years of work. I really believe that union men of his time would have been ashamed to take the benefits that they have today.

@3martijns Well i mean I've seen and with some people that said they liked life in the USSR and some say it was better then after the USSR fell. Could it have been improved? yes it could have but that's not the way it turned out
