I love Aretha Franklin as much as the next person, but why is it that on every YouTube video there's an argument about which singer/musician is the best?
Tastes are purely subjective and often arise more from sentiment rather than reason.

you can't compare Aretha with Mariah and Marry or Beyonce. They have not been around that long. And music styles have changed a lot since Aretha came out i the 60's.

Aretha is the best she is in touch with the supreme "God" unlike the newer singers beyonce,mariah, and mary. Other great singer Patti, Chaka and others barbara,maria levels below Aretha their good but not better than the Queen of Soul music/the Queen of all music. Aretha pays homage to all the greatest people who ever serve mankind Miss Parks, Dr. King and other unknown leaders. Aretha cared about Joanne Chesimard and others. God Bless Queen Aretha Franklin.Aretha certainly sings God bless her.
