@KAISERBAIR Yes and white markings, but all 4 dogues where owned by Peter Curley of TNT Bordeaux no longer exist. My first bordeaux was related to the dogues in that movie.

My girl seems to be quite skinny on the back end..She is about 6 months old..I was told that they go through a lanky stage, is this true ? what food can bulk my girl up a bit ? Any help would be great ..
The male is a little bit overweight don't you think? I have a bordeux and i always got mad at him for not eating. Since he has turned 2 he won't quit eating. Good looking dog bro!
Your dogue must be from smaller lines, mine come from big massive bone dogues, he is not overweight at all. How can you tell he is sitting down? He is the son of the world famous Multi.Ch.Brandoux Toezzz who was also around 170lbs. Clovis is known around the world, and your the first to ever say he was overweight out of the hundreds of people and world reknown breeders I have met. Where did your dog come from? I been involved in this breed almost 20years, google Stout Bordeaux!

Yes he was definitely show quality, he would have been shown in France or if I lived in Europe. They have vast more knowledge of the breed with their FCI shows, AKC within the last 2yrs fully excepted the breed and now they can be shown in the regular working class....
i have a question ,do all dogues slobber like in the movie hooch and turner or is it more than that,and if there is a way to control it.i want a dog who wouldnt slobber like the one in the movie.i love this breed but i might change my mind since i cant be bothered wiping my dogs face every few hours.
@UNCEASED In the movie Turner and Hooch, they put pills or something in its mouth exaggerate the drooling and make the movie more funny. They do drool when they drink water or very hot, but not like in the movie.. Great family dog that is protective not over aggressive.

@UNCEASED Yeah, they slobber, however, like theskitso said, it was exaggerated in the movie. After exercise or when it's hot, they tend to drool "hair gel" out of their jowels. That said, there is more to consider with these breeds than just drool. They are not for first time or timid owners. They are a dominant and powerful dog. They can be expensive to feed and vet bills add up. They need extra attention during their growth phase. The list goes on. But they are the best dogs!
we have a big house and and a big garden is crucial so i would suggest getting something more comfortable and accustomed to not so big spaces like a smaller dog lol
No not at all they are usually very calm dogs, but love to chew on things as puppies, so alot of chew toys and hide electric wires... They get rowdy when you get rowdy, and calm when your calm.

Your dogs are very nice. I myself own and breed these Dogue's, I have thirteen right now. Clovis is a lot more wrinkly then the usual huh? LOL. The puppy is adorable though, a lot of my puppies act goofy too.
Great looking dogues bud. I grew up with one, had him till I was about 17 before he passed. Such smart animals. I would love to get a bunch of them like you have.
