Its awful nice of Liberty Mutual to get thier customers a new car. One of thier customers hit me, totaled my car. now I'm stuck with no car unable to work. 30k + in Doctor bills and adding up. Electric, water, and phone all about to be shut off. Not to mention that I'm two months behind on rent and probably will be evicted soon.. Thanks for taking care of your customers Liberty Mutual.. Resposibility, LMAO !!!

They are not ineterested in RESPONSIBILITY -- they try and skim and save as much as possible for their share holders and THEY SCREW the HARD WORKING BILL PAYING CUSTOMERS. LIBERTY MUTUAL SUCKS. THEy have not made good on my claim yet, here we are almost MAY and my home still has a tarp over it from hurricane damage.
by the way call me a pussy but even though it's people acting, watching people being good people in this age makes me tear up. I'm ready for the world to grow up as a whole even if it is not in my lifetime. It's time to realize that if we want to stay here we need to compromise. I love everyone. I totally agree, even though what is being shown isn't responsibility, its still showing a great statement. Everytime I watch this I always get the chills up my back.

I disagree. I think what LM is saying is that courtesy is not something that you decide to do, it's what you're SUPPOSED to do. And in that case, it is your responsibility to be courteous. I know that many people don't take that to heart, but I completely agree with that sentiment. It should be our responsibility to do all the things (and more) featured in that spot.
I know at least a dozen peeps who should have a mainline transfusion of this commercial for they seem to have been brought up to think the exact opposite is funny. SAD!
Two things that bring this commercial from just touching to great, in my opinion: 1) it's NOT "pay it forward," since it's not the recipient who does the next nice thing, but an observer (the kindness spreads like a virus!), and 2) it's a time loop, so it doesn't "start" with anyone; somehow the kindness virus is self-generating as well. That makes it touching AND philosophically interesting...
the world would be a better place if it didnt take a reaction to seeing kindness to recreate it elsewhere. this was like a shorter, singular mixture of 'fallen' and 'pay it forward'.
It's a circle of people... Holy crap man, that was perfectly thought out. Everytime I see this commercial on television...? I cannot change the channel, I have to watch it all the way through. ^_^; I loof eet that much, I do.

I disagree. I think what LM is saying is that courtesy is not something that you decide to do, it's what you're SUPPOSED to do. And in that case, it is your responsibility to be courteous. I know that many people don't take that to heart, but I completely agree with that sentiment. It should be our responsibility to do all the things (and more) featured in that spot.
