Hey i have an alpine type x sub with a (supposedly)5000watt boss amp and i was wondering which polk speaker would be the best matchup ? if someone could help thatd be great
I recently got one of these and it sounds amazing, personally i think better than JLw6 but there is one bad thing about it.
Well i opened the box to look at it, and i cleaned the box out and there were NO STICKERS!!!!!!! i wanted to kill myself. i was gonna promote polk audio because people always ask about what i have and there like holy shit!!!!! but no stickers...
I purchased an sr about 5 months ago and by far it has been the most amazing addition to my car audio lineup that ive ever owned. it surpasses my jlw6s sound quality. polk definatly outdid themselves this year.
Yes, Polk Audio made some great home speakers back in the 80's, BUT frankly, there are many more speakers out there that are better than Polk. That said, the old SDA's and 'Monitor Series' were amazing for the money!
@AudiophileTubes i put some mobile moniters in a boat this summer, best sounding speakers ive heard so far, ive used some jbl's, pioneeres, and some others, for the money i think the mm's are unbeatable
I loved Polk Audio back in the 80's, when they catered to the audiophile. I still have my original 'Monitor 10' speakers I purchased back in 1986, and they sound fantastic! And that's coming from someone who is into planars and electrostats too!

Every speaker in my house and my car are made by Polk Audio!

Me too can I say! Have my fathers old speakers + sub from polk they are back from 1990 and they still kick a** !!
