Before buying any home here is three things to do.

Google the neighborhood for construction litigation and known defects.

Google the neighborhood for fair housing violations meaning do they accept everyone due to race,religion or sexual orientation.

This is the most important thing home inspection to discover every problem the home has due to construction.

Then if everything comes up clean move in and enjoy but remember it is up to you to make sure all problems are disclosed.

jim i LOVE your videos. they are very informative and very funny. but I have noticed something before. and just noticed it again today after coming from the brissi ranch video. you make fun of the mcmansions for being too big and silly. but then you come to a simple home like this and you make fun of it too.. what gives? maybe just maybe you could show us all the PERFECT HOUSE in the PERFECT location?? a tour of your own home even perhaps?

Trust me - that weather is not worth the California taxes and cost of living, and definitely not worth the new & improved vehicle registration fees!! :)

funny how people from outside cali always want to decide what living here is worth. I think the market itself will always decide that. so check back in another year or two and then we might get a better idea what the cali added value really is.
