I've been playing nothing but free for all in the past few days, and this strategy has worked wonders for my KD and overall success in this game type. I do prefer claymores over semtex and I change up my secondary from game to game ('cause I rarely use it anyway). This does seem like common sense approach but most people I play against never figure it out.

I agree what you call "patrolling" is legit. Also sniping from a window and not moving is not camping either. Being a dick in a corner with a shotty is camping, unless you are being chased and you duck in a corner to have the guy overshoot you, for one kill. The one thing I disagree on is using the drop-shot.

It's personal preference. I've played FPS on console and computer and I've found I'm more accurate playing with analog. Often times your accuracy is dependent on your mouse and the surface you're playing on. To be quite honest, I can't aim worth shit with a mouse, but with my thumbs... now that is when I can aim.
