  • It's not that simple, the reason ff7's plot ties up so neatly is because it does draw heavily on the bible's influence. There is also a jesus reborn symbolism in Cloud and Zack, and a Judas one in Genesis. Aerith represented a sinless, innocent being (jesus) who died, whilst dropping the white materia to help save everyone. Also, in advent children, when Cloud is close to death and Aerith sends him back, she speaks for 'heaven' and who else is there? The other jesus, Zack who died for Cloud.

  • beautifull Q_Q

  • Nicely done....I liked Aerith but I thought she only liked Cloud, I think her true love really is/was zack.

  • not according to nomura himself. if can read the japanese stuff you'll know what i mean.

  • Beautiful video! Made me think of Christ and how He always there for us through eveything--the good and the bad. He'll always help us through it, just like Aerith did with Cloud all those years. ^_^

  • Very pretty. It made me almost cry.

It's so strange how this song matches Cloud and Aerith's love so well.

But did you mean for it to be so CloudxAerith-ish?

Well, still, it's a great video and very pretty.

  • I've never watched the film but the song fits to the video...Great job!

Now I'd love to watch the film

  • wow

  • Wow.

    Beautiful.

  • I'll admit it...I too cried when I watched this. It reminded me of Aerith's death scene in the game...

  • Somehow...I can't help but love this song...(5/5)

  • OMG! I ♥ THIS SONG

  • So beautiful! I love Clerith. It's such a beautiful and tragic pairing!

  • wow it made me cry..very well made! 5 stars

  • thanks :)

  • WOW!!! Probabaly the BEST music video of all time. You actually made me cry. Cloud and Aeris all the way! Props to the maker.=]

  • thank you :)

  • maybe you do not understand what aerith's death stood for... She represented jesus, dying for other's good, sephiroth, the romans (killing jesus) and cloud was the jews (almost killing jesus and letting it happen)

  • Yeah, FF7 is loaded with many references to Christianity, and Jesus Himself. Even Yuna is like a Christ-figure. :) I love these games!!

  • @tobiaskipfer Umm. No it did not. -__- They wrote Aerith's death because she was the only character that suited that fate. Just sayin

  • VERY sweet. I think Cloud wanted to remain in that dream with Aeris. :)

  • short and undeniably sweet :)

I like the questionable ending. I see the whole thing as Cloud waking up from a dream. (and I believe feeling sad that the dream is over)

(aka I'm not a Cloti xD)

  • That was simple and effective, very pretty with a lot of silent longing. I really liked it. ;p

The ending is interesting though. Is Cloud waking up from dreams of Aeris to a real life with Tifa?

  • I see it like that, the thing you have to figure about is if he is happy with waking up between her or not ;)

  • Hm, I wonder if he is...your thoughts?

  • I meant next to her btw, not between, hahaha. Well I dont know really, atm I believe that he isn't :S

  • *is happy*

  • wow that actually made me cry for some reason, very beautifully made :)

  • that's beautiful...really really beautiful.

  • Im glad you find it beautiful :D Thanks for the comment =)

  • Very Beautiful. Very good job.

  • very beautiful ;)

  • Thank you =)
