  • You made the best tenori on tunes i 've heard, thanks for sharing !

  • tenori is only sending midi ? we dont hear it ?

  • Nice demo´s!

    Correct me if im wrong...

The tenori send midi to a Analogsolutions midi>cv converter witch then triggers the analog modules right?

There´s no cv/gate output on the tenori right?

    Thanx M

  • many possibilities.i like

  • man i want a sequencer and synth and all of that stuff but i dont have the money :(

  • The drums sound real nice. Used to have a Drumulator years ago. Are you triggering via the Drumulator's imputs or is it modded with some other trigger ins?

  • Nice work : )

  • it sounds like it keeps randomly missing beats :\

  • Is there latency there? or is it just an unusual experimental beat

  • dont plug rhythmtandem. it's kind of lame compared to this.

  • i appreciate these new midi controllers but i think these are SCARY!! I have fear from this! flashy leds and impossible to undertand its programming! difficult! but good for the soul.

  • actually, once you are told what is going on from the instructions or a simple tutorial, the lights make interacting with the sounds very tactile and easy to manipulate becasue of the immediate visual feedback.

It turns the sound into a visual /tactile feedback loop, which in turn creates an intuitive response to the music.

  • thanks for the feedback. :) i didn't know that these flashing lights are closely related to the sounds playing. i wonder what kind of controllers will come in the future .

    bye.

  • a "cyborg" feedback loop - ( living nerves and circuits connected! )

good point. I may get one of these, and can allready see being drawn into the light flashes

(I'm a Visual Jockey - I do that all the time!)

  • really nice video! Inspiring.

I guess the point is to be different than the average controller / sequencer (there are PLENTY of those for sure) to help break away from the old ideas

  • great!

  • sweet

  • Pepe....masomenos como cuanto cuesta el tenori..en pesos?

    saludos

  • este no tiene precio

    ')

    cuesta como 12,000 pesos

    saludines

  • I start saving money for I want this thing!!! I still don't know if it is possible to put vocals on it and use it as some kind of a Kaoss Pad? Can somebody tell me?

  • its cool but not really worth it.

  • How do you convert a MIDI signal to CV/Gate?

  • Am I right in saying this is a sequencer that uses midi and is about as techy as my toys when I was 2? and costs ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDERED DOLLA :{ bye bye

  • Nope. You are not 'right', good sir.

  • That comment got boring the 5 videos ago.

    Stop trolling and move on.

  • nice =D

  • the more i see the tenori-on the more i like it

  • Some set up. The sound is great (a little off, but still nice). Its really interesting to see analogue gear controlled like this. It must have taken you a while to get it all arranged?

  • where can i get samples? for mine

  • from your computer, trough the SD card, any virtual synth, analog synth or any sample wav or aiff file

    cheers

  • Completely sweet. Nice work. Especially enjoyed the exploratory vibe.

  • It doesn't feel like the rhythm is 100%. The Tenori-On is a really cool gadget but I don't really like this.

  • Here the drums are conected to an analogue delay that was a little off beat, maybe that was you have noticed, cheers

  • Me encanta la melodia xd

  • I am waiting for the release in germany and will buy one. Is it right that the max. sample time is 1 sec?

  • yes, and you can not change the pitch of the samples

i will play in berlin the 14 at mazer musik, you are invited, i will do a tenori performnce

    cheers

  • Hello Pepe, i would like to come to your show. Is it possible to set me and a friend on the guestlist. It a 3 hour ride from hamburg but i wont miss your performance.

  • cool stuff!

one question. I understood that the tenori only sends midi notes. Can you use a converter to convert note-CVs and use it to control filters etc?

  • it send 16 midi chanels, notes and volumen information(not velocity), i have a MPU101 (midi to CV-gate) and a doepfer MT16 (midi to trig) and it works tight(as seen on the video)

even if in the video there are some off notes, thats my bad timming, ;)

    cheers!

    pepe mogt

  • Does it send tempo synch info? (I'd like to connect it to electribes...)

  • That was the kind of clip I was looking for... How to control external gear with the midi capacity of the Tenori.

Does it have velocity habilities ?

  • no doesnt have that, has volume control,

but in these case were 100% tr-909 and 808 modular analog sounds, no velocity, but you can send acent, you need a midi to trig convertor.... cheers

  • great!

  • thanks!

    ;)

  • !!!!!!! this is the shit! good work man, good work!

  • thanks! this was only a test i did after recived the tenori, i really love the analogue sound, this machine is very practical in controlling them trough midi to CV gate, cheers
