I have those ! I have used them like ... 5-6 times and my legs was crushed as heeellllll after trying them when I ran !!!! I could barely walk the day after ! + I have HUUUUGEEE blisters on both of my feet because of these :p Hope that they will get me STRAAAWWNNGG
Buy water shoes if you don't need the toes. They are much cheaper and in every other aspect the same. Trust me I bought Vibram Five Fingers and used them for Parkour, they were broken after one month.
I just got my pair and they feel great, the only thing that I feel is that my big toe touches the end of the shoe but it does not bend it. is this ok?
I ordered a pair. Unfortuantely, I failed to realize that their sizes are based on inches, not traditional shoe size. I ordered a 10 and 3/4 inch pair thinking it was something between a shoe size of 10 and a 1/2 and an 11. I measured my feet and it was 10 and 1/4 inches.
Is a Vibram Five Finger adjustable for a foot that is half an inch off? Could you tighten the straps? I already ordered it and it'd be an awful shame to find that it's too large.
@CKProductions1022 Oh, no! My experience is that you really have to be close to perfect with your sizing with maybe a 2-3 millimeters of extra space or it will be really uncomfortable/painful. You should try them on when they arrive, but I'm not sure they will work. :( The Classic is really the most minimalist of the VFF models. Other models have velcro straps on top for a more rugged use of the product in more diverse terrain than what the Classics could handle. Hope they do work out for you.
@MyAchillesRupture My Vibrams came in today. I forgot to mention I actually ordered the KSOs. I went for a run with them and I felt great! They are a little big for me but I just tighten the strap a little extra and they're fine. The transition wasn't very difficult for me because I ran barefoot for a little while prior to purchasing the KSOs. I'm also Korean, so I'm usually always barefoot indoors anyways. I'll be sure to order a size smaller for my next pair. Till then, I think I'm satisfied.
@63B1stmaint You might have a bit of an issue with the fit if your second toe is pretty long. Hmmm. I certainly don't have the most perfect feet in the land and know of people who have really long second toes. There' some room within the product for adjustment, but not much. A person should definitely try these on and decide how much discomfort there is since it's possible they would not be compatible with their feet.
For me, I could *NOT* get the KSO to fit me well. I took them back. :(
@MyAchillesRupture excellent advice, i havent bought them as i am looking for some where local that sells them in my area. but i cant wait till i can finally have some :)
Took me 10 mins each foot in my experience. I have a pair of kso, Bikila, and very soon a pair of classic. I was always afraid of how feminine the classics look but seeing your and Justin's videos of the classic has changed my mind.
@juicedrinker100 Nice. I did purchase the KSO, but after trying 3 different pairs, it's looking like they just did not workout with MY feet. A shame, really. :( I'm going to try the Bikila soon.
I know exactly what you mean about the Classics appearing feminine. I considered that prior to making the purchase, but they actually worked out nicely and I would recommend them to anyone interested in getting into the VFF product.
@TheBaconPwn Great question! For some odd reason, I'm not one to really develop blisters. The other part of the equation is that I don't think I would wear the Vibrams enough to ever get to that point. I augment my workouts with them. I don't wear them everyday. Although I've had them for 8mos, I'm still testing ways in which I an obtain the greatest benefit.
I still recommend easing into them. They can be intense if you're feet are not adjusted. Good luck! :)
Just for anyone watching, if you follow the fitting instructions on the inside lid of the box it's much easier to put these one. You leave the shoe on the floor and slide your foot in big toe first at a slight angle towards the big toe pocket. This way your toes will naturally spread out a little and more easily slide into the pockets. It gets much easier the more you wear them. I love my KSOs
@vitticeps74 Trust me, I tried that, but my stubborn toes were not cooperating. The good thing is that over time, I've gotten much better. A life of wearing shoes definitely had an effect on me, but slowly, I've been able to improve.
How long have you had your KSOs? I'm torn between getting those or the Bikilas as my next pair.
Aint it fivetoes?

do the sell these in green? i'm putting together a frog halloween costume and these would be instrumental as part of that costume.

@tomx63 Good question. Great costume idea, also! :)
I don't recall seeing the VFF Classics in green. You might want to confirm the color choices with different models (KSO, Bikila, Trek, etc.).

Hey MyAchillesRupture! Congratulations on your purchase. I have four pairs of Vibrams - Classic, Sprint, KSO, and KSO Trek. I love them!

Thank you, thank you. Which pair would you say is your favorite even though I know they all have their own "reasons" for their use?
I was going to jump on the KSO for my next purchase prior to seeing the Bikila, but I think the Bikila have changed my mind. They look pretty amazing.
