@spicewood1990 Doesn't look like synthol to me, synthol makes your muscle look out of proportion to the rest of your body and makes the muscle an unatural shape. I think his arms look an natural shape. He may have used steroids but not synthol

Hoeberl obviously had the muscle and strength to begin with, only the synthol (or massive water retention) helped build the freakish size of his arms.
yea I tend to agree with you, you can always tell when it's synthol the muscle look way out of proportion and they don't flex properly when useing them. niether is the case here with manfred. further more he's a power lifter not a body builder he has no need for extra size in his muscles if it's fake! he's not being judged on size but on on strenth so he only needs REAL muscle.

Now the difference between Hoeberl and your typical synthol abusers is that Hoeberl actually has massive volume of muscles and is incredibly strong, as opposed to the sticks that inject synthol and wonder why they look silly.
Had he not had the car accident in '95, then the bicep tear and motorbike accident that all contributed to his premature exit from strongman, he would have almost certainly won WSM at least once.
@VillacherBier07 what do you mean like every strongman? You don´t get stronger by synthol. It is just OIL. If you have 12 inch arms and then get 12 more inch of synthol so you get 24 inch biceps you still as weak as before.
@deckardbladerunner No bro, he was'nt. I saw him in person at a strongman contest in scotland in '93 or '94 - he had vascularity in those guns, muscle belly shape too. You don't get that with synthol (not forgetting his arms were strong as fuck!)

They look completely natural (no synthol), and while not as defined as Mariusz, are absolutely huge and inhumanly strong.
