  • wow this is so awesome!!!! :P

nice singing everyone I feel like dancing to this xD

  • Excellent!!! I woke up to some good music after years. I avoid listening to much of anyone in this generation in an effort to keep my listening pure :-). Ranjani/ Gayatri surely motivated me to change that opinion. Some attributes of good music that I always look for: (1) No compromise on purity, (2) Modulation at higher octave (3) Excellent diction (4) Not getting addicted to express phrases - Ranjani/ Gayatri have exhibited all of these!!!

  • i wept at the lines" theradiyil ninru darisithalum pothum kovil varamattene" heart touching performance with absolute Bhava and Bhakthi

    .

  • namaskar, beautiful rendition but I remember a very fat young man doing this piece in Chidambaram a few years ago...my mother n I had to run out of the hall

  • Big shabash to the drummers 01:5902:03

  • Such a beautiful composition and rendering! Can anyone please tell me what the singers are so beautifully singing about?

  • wow...amazing!

  • how can i download dis vid?

  • WOw...nattakurinji...one of my fav.....ultimate.....

  • So melodious and soothing, and sung with bhakti and bhava. A soul-stirring rendering without a doubt. Nattakuranji is a lovely raga, and R&G bring out its beauty with smooth singing. They sing Buddham aashrayami, also in Nattakuranji, equally well. They are at the very top of my list of vocalists I most admire.

  • Namaste ~ Hari Om tat Sat ~ Sub Ek:

Ah, so the sisters performed in L.A.? Ahhh. Maybe they will have mercy on the Pacific Northwest and come and perform here? Such purity of sound. Jai Jai Hanuman! Jai Jai Sri Baba Ram Dass! Sub Ek!

  • @ArgotMay - They did come and perform at the ISKON temple in Sammamish, WA. Hope you didn't miss it.

  • Just Top Class.

  • They sang this in L.A. and I cried.

  • Wow, my mom requested this song when they came to Dallas, TX several weeks back...simply beautiful live. It just moves you to tears, you know?

  • Thanks for uploading this wonderful piece. The first time I heard this song, I was in tears. I could visualize the entire song. Each time I hear this song I am spiritually elevated. My grand daughter who is 11 months sits and listens to this song without moving a bit. Ranajani & Gayathri, onga thiruvadikki sharanam.

  • ooo..my god, there are any people who was describe as untouchable..? did you create such these people...? but for what reason...?

  • om shivia beautifull raga very soothing :)

  • Excellent video. Can someone please translate the lyrics for me? I know the story of Nnadanaar but I do not know Tamil.

    Thanks.

  • From the day I listened to this song, about three months ago, I have not been able to stop singing it, even if I only know the first two verses!!!! This song, especially the melody is really really addictive!

  • Beautiful rendering ... I never heard this song before ... When I first heard in JayaTV just I liked it so much and the very next day I've found it here ... Ranjani & Gayathri are simply great !

  • OMG! I just love this song. I havent heard it before and I dont think the bhakthi bhava can be better brought out. Such a wonderful rendering. I have been listening to this song for about the 50th time today. Look at Nandanar. He doesnt even know that it is called "Nandhi". He simply calls it "Maadu". Pure Spontaneity gave him mukthi :-)

  • great singing. Loved it.

  • This perhaps defines bhakti, bhAvam, involvement, devotion... what not! THE nATakuranji... amongst the best there can be, perhaps only rivaled by budhamAshrAyami....

Thanks a ton, Ranjani & Gayatri, for this TREAT!

  • Indeed. Well said.

  • amazing...never had a liking for nattakurinji before...just fell in love after hearing this masterfully sung piece....

  • Same here! never liked nattakurinji.. but this song n tat too their rendition has made me like it!!!

  • Wat??? Its a lovely raga.....
