Melee should run out right before the discs are cast and then it's much easier to avoid them. He has a big hit box so you have some range to back out and then dodge the discs

Jesus we spent forever on this guy... had huge issues getting our core group together to do it. Always had to pug someone and explain it to them. After 50ish wipes he killed him and now we are regularly 1-2 shooting him can't wait till the nerf on this fight though.

I hate th movement im so bad at it and i was only doing 5k as disc priest for healing i was like i wanna do holy but they needed a tank healer and we ended up wiping and then i said im going holy and we went on to Chimaeron and it was helpful because Prayer of healing usually always gets everyone to over 10k hp and the little aoe healing circle for fued is really helpful.i love ur guides they teach me alot. if u get Sinestra plz plz give a guide about that i have NO IDEA what it is babout LOL.

@cbrandom The other issue is let's say that you run out of range of the pally, although as someone stated shadow instead covered by shaman and nature by pally youget the buffs where you are during the boss encounter. As well most restoration and elemental shamans have the resistance totem buff tied to theyre healing stream one via the gylph. So it's not a buffing issue.

@cbrandom The boss hits for shadow damage raid wide and shamans don't have a totem that resist shadow damage but a paladins aura does.

@WJS6495 This is incorrect. Resto shamans (which Aliena has in her raid, AND he has the glyph) have a glyph that makes their healing stream totem provide the same resistances as the Paladin. I see Concentration Aura and Resistance Aura. It's pretty fuckin basic raid mechanics to coordinate buffs. Especially if you advertise yourself as a "top 50 US raiding guild." Whatever that means. Top 50 in not having a life. I was in a top progression raiding guild. It sucked, but I knew how to buff well.
